할로윈 파티에 가져갈 소주를 사려고 열심히 검색해보니

한 블로거 분이 글로벌 베버리지라는 리커스토어에 진짜 한국소주가 있다고 해서 가봤다.

I looked up where I can buy Soju to take to Halloween Party.

I found out there is a liquor store called Global Beverage which sells imported Soju.

가는 길에 완전 이런 곳에 술집이 있을까 했는데;

가서 보니 건물도 정말 크고 주차장에 차들도 진짜 많았다.

The town looked like middle of nowhere but the liquor store was very big and there were so many cars in the parking lot.

들어가서 보니 더 놀라웠는데 수입맥주, 소주, 와인, 보드카 등등 종류별로 진열되어 있었다.

We were amazed by the number of liquors inside including imported beers, Soju, wine, vodka and whiskey.

나는 술을 좋아하는 편이 아니라 뭐가 뭔지는 잘 몰랐지만

스카일러는 거의 천국이라며 엄청 흥분했음

I am not a big fan of liquor but Skylar got so excited as if this place was paradise -_-a

입구에서 가까운 곳에 한국 술이 진열되어 있었다.

막걸리도 있고, 소주도 작은 병이랑 큰 병 둘 다 있었다.

남편은 참이슬 사고 나는 파인애플맛 과일 주로 샀다.

참이슬같이 진짜 한국에서 만들어지는 소주는 도수가 높아서 일반 마트에서는 사기가 어렵다.

그래서 Hmart에서 파는 소주는 일반 한국 소주보다 도수가 낮다. 

그래서 진짜 한국 소주를 구하려면 리커스토어로 가야하는데 이 곳이 그나마 가까운 곳이었다.

There were so many kinds of Soju near the counter.

They even had Korean rice wine -Makeolli- and different sizes of Soju.

Skylar bought two Sojus and I got the pineapple flavored soju.

Real Soju's degree is higher than beer and wine that can be sold at grocery markets.

So even if you buy sojus at Hmart, the degree is lower than normal Korea Sojus.

This was a place near Alabama that you can buy Korea soju with the right degree.
