애틀랜타 볼거리들은 올림픽공원 주위로 모두 위치해있다.
저기 유명한 CNN 본사 빌딩도 분수 너머로 보인다.
Atlanta's tourist attractions are all near the Olympic park.
There's CNN headquarter behind the fountain.
우리가 갔을 때는 올림픽 공원에서 부분적으로 공사 중이어서 걸어 돌아와야했다.
온라인에서 오후 4시 이후로 입장하는 티켓을 끊으면 일반 가격의 30% 할인된 가격으로 구매할 수 있다.
When we went to the park, some parts were under construction.
So we had to detour to get to the aquarium.
If you buy tickets online that are for visiting after 4 pm is 30% cheaper than the regular price.
아쿠아리움 앞에 위치한 큰 트리 앞에서 사진도 찍고 연말 분위기 물씬 느끼기 :-)
The giant tree gives you a Christmas vibe.
세계 최대 아쿠아리움이라고 광고는 많이 했지만 막상 들어가면 그렇게 크단 느낌은 안든다.
그런데 아쿠아리움치고 구조가 굉장히 독특하다.
광장이 가운데 있고 각 섹션별로 구별이 되어 있어서 먼저 보고 싶은 곳에 가면 된다.
They promote that their aquarium is the biggest in the world,
but once you get in there, it doesn't look very big.
The layout is sure unique. there is a square in the middle and you can choose different sections.
우린 운이 좋게도 들어가자마자 바다사자 쇼가 시작했다.
훈련 받은 바다사자들이 정말 똑똑하게 쇼를 이끌어 나간다.
사람들 모두 물개박수
How lucky we were, the sea lion show was about to start.
The sea lions were so smart that they knew what to do exactly.
벨루가들.
나는 개인적으로 아쿠아리움 가는 거 정말 안좋아한다. ㅠㅠ
왜냐면 그 이유가 어찌 되었던 좁은 공간에 동물을 가둬두는 건 옳다고 생각하지 않기 때문에,
이 공간에 있는 벨루가들이 행복하기를 바랐다.
Belugas.
I personally don't like to go to aquariums.
Because no matter what I don't like to see animals in a small enclosure.
I just hoped that they were happy.
무빙워크가 있는 아쿠아리움은 처음 봐서 신기했다.
무빙워크로 사람들을 계속해서 이동시켜 지연이 없도록 설계한 걸 보고 똑똑하다 싶었다.
It was my first time to see a moving walk in an aquarium.
I thought that was a very clever idea.
So they keep people moving.
무빙워크를 지나 우리가 향한 곳은 조지아 아쿠아리움의 하이라이트라고 불리는 고래상어 수족관
I would say this part is the best of the aquarium.
Whale Shark !
보고 있노라면 진짜 바다를 옮겨다 놓은 것 같이 크고 웅장하다.
It almost made me feel like i was under the sea.
귀여운 아시아 수달!

화려한 색감의 열대어들
Eye-catching tropical fish.
쏠베감펭이라는 화려한 물고기와 그 뒤로 보이는 뱀장어(?)
Invasive lion fish and eel in the back.
그 다음으로 향한 곳은 산호 섹션이다.
수족관 천장에서 파도가 치는 것처럼 물결이 일렁이는게 정말 멋지다.
We head to Coral part.
The ceiling of the enclosure makes waves. That looked cool.
환경오염에 민감한 산호들이 많이 죽어가고 있는데
조만간 산호는 수족관에서만 볼 수 있는 건 아닌가 걱정이다.
Great amounts of reefs are dying. It's a vert serious issue.
I was afraid what if we could see coral only at aquariums in the future.
돌고래 쇼가 5:30에 시작될 예정이어서 쇼 시작 30분 전에 자리를 맡으러 서둘렀다.
Dolphin show was starting at 5:30 pm.
We hurried to be there 30 minutes before the show.
벌써부터 돌고래 쇼 장소로 향하는 사람들이 많다.
So many people were already heading to the show.
1열부터 10열까지는 물에 젖을 수 있다는 경고를 엄청 듣는다.
우리는 8열이었는데 아주 운이 좋게도 우리 쪽으론 물이 별로 안 튀었다.
우리 옆 섹션은 흠뻑 물을 맞았다;;
They keep warning people in the first to tenth rows that they are in the SOAK ZONE.
We sat on the eight row but thankfully we didn't get splashed at all.
But the next section over got soaked.
돌고래 쇼는 한번도 본 적이 없었는데 솔직히 정말 놀랐다.
한편으론 돌고래들이 스트레스를 받는 건 아닌지 걱정도 되었지만
쇼 자체를 두고 보자면 완전 고퀄리티라서 조지아 아쿠아리움에 갈 거라면 필수 코스로 꼭 넣어야 한다.
I had never seen dolphin shows before.
I actually got amazed by it.
While I was worrying about the dolphins, the show itself was splendid.
If you are going to go to Georgia Aquarium, you should check out this show for sure.
쇼를 마친 대견하고 귀여운 돌고래들의 컴백.
Smart & Cute dolphins came back home.
유리창에 서있었는데 몇 돌고래들은 가까이 다가워서 마치 하이파이브를 해주는 것 같았다.
I was standing in front of the enclosure, some dolphins seemed to high-five me.
스카일러는 계속 돌고래들 앞에서 빙빙 돌았다. (쇼를 보면 무슨 말인지 앎)
그러나 돌고래들은 반응하지 않았다...!
Skylar kept trying to spin in front of the dolphins. * You know what that means if you saw the show.
But none of the dolphins reacted to him.
마지막으로 한번 더 고래상어들을 눈에 담고 떠나기
At last, we looked at the whale sharks one more time.
저녁의 트리도 아름답다.
The tree at night was beautiful too.
