미국 리코 GR2 중고 구매 후기 & 포지티브필름 Ricoh GR II

지금 쓰고 있는 미러리스는 렌즈 무게까지 합하면 하루 종일 들고다니기에 무리가 있었다.

나랑 스카일러는 8월 말에 두번째 뉴욕 여행을 떠날 예정이어서 가볍지만 좋은 사진을 찍을 수 있는 카메라를 가지고 싶었는데,

리코 GR2가 바로 그 해답이었다.

My mirrorless camera is heavy to carry around for a whole day.

Skylar and I are planning to go to New York at the end of August, I wanted to a small and light camera for the trip.

Ricoh GR ii was the best.

처음에는 리코 새 카메라를 살까 생각했는데 내가 사기로 결정한 뒤 미국 아마존에는 이미 재고가 없었다.

그래서 중고를 사기로 결정했는데 어느 날 $350 달러로 아마존에 거의 새거라고 써져있는 중고 리코가격이 올라왔다.

묻지도 따지지도 않고 바로 구매 버튼을 눌렀는데 희안하게도 구매자 정보에 "구매를 하기 전 저희에게 이메일을 보내서 컨펌을 받으세요." 라고 되어있는 거다.

이미 구매 버튼을 누른 후라 이메일로 이미 구매요청을 한 후에 그 문구를 확인해서 이제서야 이메일을 보낸다고 했다.

At first, I was going to buy a new Ricoh GR ii. By the time when I made the decision, new camera was all sold out on Amazon.

So I had to consider a used one. One day, there was a deal that costs only $ 350 for a likely new used one.

I pressed the order button right away and saw the weird description about the seller that requires buyers to email them and get a confirmation before placing an order.

Since I already ordered the camera, I emailed them and told them I already pressed the button and saw the request.

하루 뒤 받은 답장에는 개인정보를 요구하며 리코 구매를 아마존 밖 외부 사이트에서 하라는 식이어서 수상한 냄새가 나기 시작했다.

우리가 답장을 하지 않았더니 그 딜러가 구매요청 취소를 한 모양이었다.

그 후 그 딜러에게 사는 것은 포기하고 계속 딜이 올라오는 지 체크해봤는데,

그 중고 딜러가 이름을 바꿔가며 같은 딜로 계속 올리는 거다. 그 사람한테 개인정보를 안알려준게 다행이다 싶었다.

One day after, they asked for my personal information and tried to make me to buy the used camera out of Amazon.

It smelled fishy. We decided not to respond, and the order got canceled by the seller.

I kept checking deals of the camera on Amazon afterwards, the seller changed names every time and posted the same deal.

I was glad not have told them about my information.

아마존에서 구입하길 포기하고는 이베이에 올라온 리코 경매에 눈을 돌렸다.

이미 최저가가 300달러를 넘은 상태. 경매는 처음 시도해보는 지라 온라인 경매임에도 불구하고 심장이 쿵쾅거렸다.

마지막 1분을 남기고 나름 중고가 치고 높은 가격인 $490을 불렀는데 1초 남기고 어떤 사람이 $500달러 불러서 낚아챘다ㅡㅡ.

그 중고 리코 상태가 좋았더라면 500달러 이상 부를 가치가 있었겠지만 또 그 정도는 아니었어서 경매는 결국 놓쳤지만 엄청 아쉽진 않았다.

I gave up on buying a Ricoh ii on Amazon, started to look for it on Ebay.

There was one bid. The lowest bid was already over $300.

It was my first time bidding even though it was online, my heart pumped so fast lol.

I had only one minute left, I put $490 for the used Ricoh GR ii (I thought that was a lot for the quality though),

someone snapped the camera away right before the bid ended =_= for $500.

그렇게 리코~ 리코~ 울며 일주일 내내 중고 찾아 삼매경에 빠졌다.

그러다 아마존 영국 직구로 아직 새 리코가 판매 중인 걸 발견했다.

배송비까지 합치면 무려 700$ 였는데 과연 이걸 살 것인가 고민한 상태에서 재고는 단 3개.

하루 종일 고민해 본 결과 700달러 가치까진 아니란 결정을 내렸다.

I was desiring for Ricoh GR ii for one week.

I found new Ricoh GR ii deals on Amazon U.K.

It was for $700 with delivery fee, I hesitated to buy it when there were only 3 left.

I thought about if for a night and decided it was not that worth it.

그렇게 하루 이틀 지나 다시 확인해 본 영국 아마존에도 새 리코가 완전 품절이 되어버렸다...^^

이제 슬슬 불안해지기 시작하는데...

I checked the deal after a couple of days, and the cameras were completely sold out there too.

I was getting anxious....

내가 처음 리코GR2를 사고 싶다고 스카일러한테 말했을 때 좋은 카메라 두고 뭐 또 새로 사냐 하는 반응이었는데

리코를 향한 나의 집착을 보더니 스카일러도 리코 리뷰 동영상을 본 모양이었다.

갑자기 자기도 리코GR2 가지고 싶다며 중고 물품을 찾는 데 도움을 주었다.

When I first told Sklyar I want a Ricoh GR ii, he was being skeptical about buying a new one when I already have a good one.

After he saw me being so obsessed with Ricoh GR ii for a few weeks, he checked out some review videos about the camera.

He suddenly wanted the camera too and helped me with looking for a deal. (He only believes other people's reviews. -_-)

그리하여 우리가 발견한 건 레딧이라는 미국 커뮤니티 중고거래로 올라온 Ricoh GR2.

사진을 보니 관리도 잘 된 상태였고 추가 배터리, 추가 충전기까지 합해 400달러로 올라왔다.

이건 절대 놓칠 수 없단 생각에 중고 판매자에게 스카일러가 사고 싶다고 강력히 어필했다.

그 사람 답변을 보아하니 다른 몇 명이 이미 사고 싶다고 물어본 상태인 것 같아 더 초조해졌다.

So we found a used camera on Reddit.

The picture showed a very good used Ricoh GR ii with an extra battery and charger only for $400!

I couldn't miss this deal and Skylar appealed the seller that we really want this camera.

It seemed like some people already messaged him about the camera!

우리가 어떻게 구매하면 되는지, 판매 중이라면 당장 돈을 보낼 수 있다고 설득시켜 결국 그분은 우리에게 팔기로 결정했다.

그 분은 자동차 사진작가여서 카메라를 어떻게 관리하는 지 제대로 아는 분이라 더 안심이 되었다.

We asked him how to pay and if it was still on sale, we can send him money right away eventually convinced him to sell the camera to us!

He is a car photographer, he seemed to know how to take care of cameras.

그렇게 리코 GR2를 갖기 위한 우리의 노력은 아름답게 마무리가 되었다.

이 카메라가 인기가 많은 건 알았지만, 요근래 들어 미국에서는 갑자기 재고가 아예 다 떨어지는 지경이 되었다.

아무래도 생산을 중단한 듯 싶어 그 가치가 점점 더 올라가는 것 같다.

한국에서는 아직 품절상태까진 아니지만 형성된 가격대가 800달러여서 부담이 되었다.

So we finally got Ricoh GR ii for a very cheap price.

We knew this camera was very popular, but recently it's out of stock in the US!!!!!

I think the company stopped making new ones.

There are some new Ricohs in Korea, but the price is around $8-900.

리코 GR 2와 리코 디지털 2가 이름이 비슷하여 하마터면 실수로 다른 기종을 살 뻔한 에피소드도 있었다.

And I almost bought a different model since the name was very very similar.

Ricoh GR ii and Ricoh Digital ii are different.

결국 400달러란 가격으로 저렴하게 관리가 잘 된 중고 리코 카메라를 사게 되어 너무 너무 행복하다!! ㅋ

한 손에 가볍게 쥘 수 있고 들고 다니기에 너무 좋은 카메라인데다가 내가 가장 기대하는 필터인 포지티브로 감성사진까지 찍을 수 있어

여행카메라로 더할나위없이 좋은 리코GR2!!!

Ricoh GR ii is considered as the best street camera and it has an effect that makes pictures look film pictures.

I can't be happier lol. 

+) 중고 거래한 분에게 카메라 잘 받았다고 연락드렸더니 좋은 카메라라며 판 것 후회한다고 하셨다 ㅋㅋ

We messaged the seller that we received the camera and he said it's a nice little camera and he's regretting selling it.
