브루클린 브릿지 원호텔 수영장은 오전 7시에 연다. 이른 아침부터 일어나 맨 첫번째로 맨하탄 뷰를 즐기러 갔더니 루프탑 엘리베이터 버튼이 눌리지 않았다. 카운터에 전화했더니 아직 점검하고 있는 것 같다고 했다.

The swimming pool opens at 7 A.M. We woke up early in the morning to get to the pool and be the first. But the elevator button to the rooftop was still locked. We called the counter and the security was still doing something.

10분 지나 다시 시도해보니 버튼이 눌려서 제일 첫번째로 옥상 수영장에 갈 수 있었다.

We tried 10 minutes later and it worked!

웃기지만 벽에 붙어있는 사인에는 수영금지라고 되어있다. ㅋㅋ 수영 못하는 수영장이라니~~ 어차피 수영장이 작아서 수영 못할 것 같긴 하다. 

The sign in the wall says no swimming even though it is A pool!! lol. I don't think the pool is big enough to actually swim anyway.

아침 맨하탄 뷰도 말도 안되게 멋지다. ㅠㅠ

The view was unbelievable.

점점 사람들도 올라오고 우리도 슬슬 배가 고파져서 조식을 먹으러 가기로 했다.

More and more people were coming and we were getting hungry. So we left for brunch.

호텔 예약할 때 조식 서비스도 함께 결제했는데 룸서비스/네이버스카페/The Osprey 중 조식을 먹고 싶은 곳을 골르고 $50달러의 크레딧을 받아 주문을 할 수 있었다. 우리는 The Osprey로 가기로 결정했다.

Breakfast was included with our reservation. We could have chose among room service, Neighbors Cafe or The Osprey. They gave us $50 credit to use.

나는 콜드브루와 오믈렛, 남편은 커피와 팬케이크를 주문했다.

I ordered cold brew, omelet and Skylar got coffee and pancakes.

스카일러가 Osprey가 새 이름이라서 여기 인테리어도 곳곳에 둥지랑 새장같이 해놓은 것 같다고 했다.

He told me that this restaurant must have decorated with bird cages and nests because of their name. It's a name of a bird.

주문해주시는 서버 분도 너무 고상하시고 친절해서 더 대접받는 기분이 들었다.

The server was very friendly and nice. It made our time there even better.

남편이 주문한 팬케이크와 소스. 양이 상당했다. 나도 한 조각 맛봤는데 곡물 맛에 블루베리 맛까지 더해져서 팬케이크임에도 불구하고 건강한 맛이났다. 남편이 맛있다고 좋아했다. ㅋㅋ

He got a lot of pancakes. I tried a bite. It tasted like grain and blueberry. Skylar liked it. 

이건 내가 주문한 오믈릿. 안에 콩도 들어있고 약간의 고수가 뿌려져있다. 고수를 정말 싫어했었는데 미국 오고나서부터 입맛이 서서히 바뀌더니 이젠 고수가 있으면 향긋하게 느껴지는 경지에 도달했다. 잘 씻겨진 상추랑 함께 먹으니 꿀맛 *_*

This is my omelet. It had beans inside and a little of cilantro on top of it. I used to hate cilantro since I came to the U.S. Now I even think cilantro makes a dish more savory. It was good with very well cleaned lettuce.

브런치도 먹고 좋은 서비스도 받으니 이날 하루 시작이 활기차졌다.

The brunch made our day.

브런치 먹고 나와 로비에서 잠깐 멍 때리기.

We spent some time at the lobby after breakfast.

우리가 머문 방으로 돌아와 짐을 싸고 드디어 체크인을 했다. 우리가 생각해도 원호텔에서 즐길 수 있는 즐길거리는 다 해본 것 같다. 단 한가지 테슬라 시승만 빼고 말이다. ㅠㅠ 나중에 우연찮게도 테슬라 시승해볼 기회가 생겼는데 나중에 따로 포스팅할거다. :)

We came back to our room and packed out stuff to check out. We took advantage of almost every service except Tesla ride. But we happened to try a Tesla later somewhere else. :)
