앨라배마 헌츠빌 Oshi에서 포케푸드를

뉴욕에서 드디어 처음으로 하와이언 음식인 포케를 먹어봤는데 내가 사는 곳 근처에도 있으면 얼마나 좋을까라고 스카일러한테 하소연한 적 있었다. 그런데 스카일러가 헌츠빌에 포케음식점이 있다면서 보여줬는데 새로 오픈한 것 같은 레스토랑이어서 가보자고 했다.

I first tried Poke food in New York and I wished I could get Poke food around where I live. Skylar found this Poke place in Huntsville and the restaurant looked like it opened recently.

오시 스시는 헌츠빌 다운타운에 위치한 주택가에 있는 포케 음식점이다.

Oshi Poke & Sushi is located in downtown Huntsville.

치폴레처럼 자기 만의 메뉴를 만들 수 있거나 아니면 인기메뉴 중 하나를 골라 주문해도 된다. 스카일러는 직접 원하는 메뉴를 골라담았고 나는 오오오 라는 메뉴가 딱 내가 원하는 재료가 들어가있어서 그걸로 주문했다.

It's basically seafood version of Chipotle or Subway, you build your own bowl. Skylar chose each ingredient he wanted, I got a Ohh Oh Oh since it had all ingredients I liked.

이 레스토랑이 한국인이 운영하는 지는 잘 모르겠지만 반가운 노래가 들리길래 들어보니 다 케이팝 음악이었다 :)

I am not sure if this restaurant is owned by a Korean, but they only played K-pop songs. :)

이건 스카일러 포케인데 스시 라이스, 당근, 오이, 고수, 땅콩, 찐 새우 그리고 샐러드를 믹스한 것에 소스는 아시안 치폴레로 초장인 것 같았다. 내꺼는 연어, 참치, 양파, 현미, 스프링 믹스와 트러플 폰스 소스였다.

This is Skylar's Poke with Sushi rice, carrots, cucumbers, cilantro, peanuts and steamed shrimp with a sauce named Asian Chipotle. Mine had raw salmon, tuna, onions, spring mix and brown rice with truffle Ponzu sauce.

이렇게 가까운 곳에 포케 푸드를 먹을 수 있다니 행복했다. 가격은 스프라이트까지해서 27달러가 나왔다. 포케푸드 자체가 눈이 휘둥그레질 만큼 굉장한 맛이 있는 건 아니고, 건강한 회덮밥을 먹는 것 같아서 좋다. 스카일러는 생선 자체를 많이 좋아하지 않아서 새우 포케를 시켰는데 만족해했다.

I was so glad that I could have Poke food nearby. It was 27 dollars with a drink after tax. It's just rice and salad with fresh fish. It's not a very amazing taste, you can expect how they will taste. But I like the way they mix all the ingredients I like together and they tastes good. Skylar isn't into fish very much so he tried with shrimp and he liked his Poke.

모던한 분위기에 중간 중간 많은 사람들이 들어와 포장을 해가거나 우버잇츠 드라이버들이 음식을 배달하기 위해 기다리는 분들도 보였다.

The restaurant was clean and new. There were many people to get food to go even we saw some Uber drivers waiting on to-go Poke to deliver. (Uber Eats)
