해티비 치킨은 우리가 묵었던 햄튼인 호텔에서 5분 거리에 있다.

Hattie B's chicken was close to our hotel Hampton inn Nashville.

You can walk there in only 5 mins.

내쉬빌은 매운 치킨으로 유명하다.

남친이 검색해서 후기 좋은 곳으로 고른 곳이 바로 여기 Hattie B's chicken 이다.

프라이드 치킨 부위별로 주문할 수 있고 매운 강도도 조절할 수 있다.

Nashville is famous for HOT chicken and Hattie B's is the most popular.

You can choose which part of chicken and spiciness.

처음에 내가 주문하려고 했던 것은 제일 매운 맛이었는데, 남친이 너무 매운 거 먹으면 배탈나서 안된다고 극구 말려서

한단계 낮은 매운 맛으로 먹었다.

I was going to order the hottest -Shut the cluck up- , but my boyfriend didn't let me get it.

I had to choose less hot -Damn hot-.

미국인들에게 매운 맛이었지만 역시 한국인하면 매운음식 아니겠어?

그냥 매콤~한 정도.

Well, the chicken probably is very hot for Americans.

Not for Koreans. It was just a little bit spicy.

나중에서야 남친이 최고 매운맛 못먹게 해서 미안하다며....ㅋㅋㅋ

그 와중에 본인은 콜록 콜록~~ (나보다 안 매운 것 드셨음)

He apologized to me that he didn't let me get what I want.

Even though he ordered less hot than mine

It was still hot to my boyfriend though.

남부식 콜라드 그린을 사이드 디쉬로 먹었는데

나물 매니아인 나로서는 정말 맛있게 먹었다.

The side dish was southern style collard greens.

I really liked them.

이건 바나나 푸딩인데

전형적인 한국인 입맛인 나는 튀긴음식에 단 음식까지 함께 먹으려니까 쉽게 물려버렸다.

I guess this was banana pudding,

It was too creamy with fried chicken.

미국음식은 짜~~~~~~~고, 달~~~~~~~~다.

American food is either SOOOO sweet or SOOOO salty.

이건 남친이 시킨 피멘토 맥앤치즈.

이때까지만 해도 미국음식에 적응하는 중이었기 때문에 

이것 역시도 치킨이랑 먹으니 좀 느끼했던 부분이 없잖아 있다.

This is his side dish, Pimento Mac&Cheese.

I was getting used to American food by then,

This was too cheesy for me.

정말 많은 사람들이 끊임없이 들어왔던 내쉬빌 맛집 Hattie B's chicken !

다음 방문에는 최고 매운맛으로 도전해봐야겠다.

There were a lot of people coming in and out.

Next time I will go with the hottest flavor.
