더 코스모폴리탄 파운틴 뷰 후기
The Cosmopolitan, Fountain View Room
2.1~2.4, 2020
라스베가스 공항은 시내와 엄청 가까이 위치해있어서 우버를 타고 10분 정도 지나 코스모폴리탄에 도착했다. 완전 화려한 로비에서 엄청나게 전문적인 분이 체크인을 순식간에 도와주셨고, 우리가 배정된 방은 첼시동 3447호였다.
Las Vegas airport is only 10 minutes away from downtown. We took Uber to the Cosmopolitan. A professional lady checked us in super fast and assigned us at this room on the 34th floor.
우리는 프라이스라인을 통해 예약했기 때문에, 특정 타입의 방을 고른 것이 아니었고 임의 배정이었다. 그래서 걱정이 좀 되기도 했는데, 운이 좋게도 퀸 사이즈 베드가 2개 있고 뷰가 좋은 방에서 묵게 되었다.
Since we booked through Priceline, I didn't get to choose a specific room type. I was a little nervous, but the lady let us stay at a room with two queen sized beds and a great view.
우리 방은 비록 테라스는 없지만, 벨라지오 분수와 라스베가스 야경이 멋지게 보이는 곳이었다. 체크인을 저녁 7시 넘어 하기도 했고, 프라이스라인 익딜을 통해 이 시기 최저가로 예약한데다가 우리가 묵은 주말이 슈퍼볼 주간(미식축구 경기)이었기 때문에 좋은 뷰를 얻을 수 있을까 싶었다. 왜냐면 우리가 배정받는 방에 가는 동안 반대방향 방으로 들어가는 손님들도 꽤나 봤기 때문이었다. 그래서 우리가 배정받은 방에 더 더 감사했다.
Our room didn't have a balcony but it had the best view we could have ever gotten. Even though we checked in after 7 P.M. , didn't book a room on the official website and it was Superbowl weekend, but we could stay at a room with this nice night view. I saw many people staying on the other side with less good view. We were lucky.
화장실 가는 길에 있는 가구 문을 열면 오른 편에 작은 냉장고와 왼편에 아마도 미니바로 추정되는 냉장고가 있는데 미니바는 절대 손을 안댔다. ㅋㅋ 혹시나 여는 순간 추가요금이 발생하는 것을 미연에 방지하기 위해서... ㅎㅎ 코스모폴리탄에서 체크인 할 때 작은 생수 두 병을 공짜로 주는데, 우리는 보통 주변에 CVS나 월그린에 가서 큰 생수를 사와서 지내는 동안 유용하게 사용한다.
There was furniture on the way to the bathroom. There are two mini refrigerators in it. The silver one is for us to store beverages in and the other one, I assumed it would be a mini bar. I didn't want to open that one in case it would accidentally charge us extra money. We bought 2 large waters for us to drink while staying here at CVS.
라스베가스는 사막에 있어서 그런지, 왼쪽 수도꼭지를 조금만 돌려도 엄청나게 뜨거운 물이 나오니 조심해야했다; ㅋㅋ
The water there can get so hot quickly, we needed to carefully use it.
화장실과 샤워실이 각각 왼쪽과 오른편에 위치해 있었다. 화장실 환풍기 소리가 아주 큰 거 빼고는 만족했다.
A toilet room was on the left side and shower was on the other side. I was happy with this room besides the fan in the toilet room was loud.

이 두 빌딩이 코스모폴리탄인데, 아마도 앞 쪽에 큰 빌딩이 더 비싼 거 같다. 우리가 묵은 방은 뒷 편에 있는 첼시 건물이었다.
These two buildings are Cosmopolitan resort. I think the taller one is more expensive. Our room was in the smaller building called Chelsea building.
총평 ★★★★ (별 하나 뺀 이유는 우리가 간 주말 가격대 자체가 평소보다 높아서;ㅋㅋ)
라스베가스는 호텔은 대체적으로 주말에 호텔 가격이 상승한다. 슈퍼볼 같은 큰 행사가 겹치는 주말을 피해 평일에 묵는 게 훨씬 낫다. 특히 코스모폴리탄에 묵을 거라면 벨라지오 분수가 잘 보이는 파운틴뷰로 묵는 것을 아주 아주 추천.
주말엔 특히 술 취한 사람도 많아서 주변 방에서 큰 소음이 나기도 한다. 남편도 그래서 잠을 한 숨도 못자기도 했다. 잠귀가 예민하다면, 귀마개나 수면제를 준비하는 것이 도움이 될 수 있다. 개인적으론 방음 문제라기 보다는 고성방가 문제가 있을 수 있다.
Las Vegas resorts tend to get much more expensive on the weekend. Especially if there is a special event such as Superbowl during your stay, the hotel gets even more pricey. I recommend staying at the Cosmopolitan with the fountain view. There could be drunk & loud people around your room on the weekend. My husband couldn't sleep because of this. If you are sensitive, it's the best to bring your own earplugs or sleeping pills in case. I don't think it was about the room, but keep in mind, there are many people drunk at night in Las Vegas.
