도레미 노래방은 둘루스 H 마트 바로 옆 건물에 위치해있다.

구글 리뷰에 주인이 별로 친절하지 않다는 둥, 평점이 낮아서 걱정했었는데 실제로는 너무나 친절하신 분이었다.

Do Re Mi karaoke is right next to H mart.

Some google reviews say that the owner was not very nice and the ratings were not very good.

So we were worried but actually she was so nice in person.

긴 휴일의 낮 시간에 방문한 탓일까? 우리 말고 다른 한 팀만 있는 듯 했다. 

도레미 노래방은 오픈시간이 평일/ 주말 마다 다르다.

우리는 주말에 갔기 때문에 오픈시간이 오후 3시여서 비교적 이른 시간에 이용할 수 있었다.

Only another group and us were at the karaoke.

This karaoke opens at different time on weekdays and weekend.

We could use it after 3 PM.

우리가 배정받은 방은 정말 넓어서 거의 6명 정도 사용할 만한 크기의 방이었다.

미러볼도 돌아가고 조명도 화려한데다가, 한국 노래방 시스템과 완전 똑같았다.

웬만한 신곡은 거의 다 있었다. 아마 한달 전까지 발매한 노래들은 거진 다 있었던 듯.

Our room was spacious enough for 4 more people.

The lights were awesome and the system was exactly the same as Korean's.

They had almost very new songs too.

우리는 노래방 오기 전 파리바게트에서 무슨 노래 부를 지 리스트를 만들었다.

일분일초도 낭비할 수 없기에 ㅋㅋㅋ

방에 들어오자마자 노래부터 찾아서 재생시켰다는 ;;

We made a song list before we came here;;

So we wouldn't waste any minutes lol.

As soon as we got assigned a room, we played a song right away.

스카일러는 한국 노래를 엄청 좋아하는데, 그래서 한국식 노래방에 가도 전혀 문제가 없다.

본인이 부르고 싶은 한국 노래가 산더미인데다가 유명한 팝송은 거진 다 있으니깐 남편에겐 완전 핫플레이스임. 

Skylar likes K pop so he has no problem with going to Korean karaokes.

He has a lot of K pop songs to sing and he can even sing some popular american songs here too.

스카일러는 한 시간이 지나서 추가요금 붙으면 어떡하냐고 전전긍긍했지만,

내가 시간 10분이나 5분 남으면 기계에 알림이 뜰 거라고 계속 말해줘도 불안해했다.

He was worrying what if it charged us after an hour automatically =_=.

I kept telling him that there would be an notification in the screen.

미국식 가라오케는 펍 같은 곳에서 많은 사람들 앞에 서서 불러야 하기 때문에 부담감 백배;

시엄마는 왜 미국에는 한국식 노래방 시스템이 없는지 물어보셨다. ㅋㅋ

I heard at an American Karaoke you sing in front of people.

My mother in law wondered why there's no American karaokes with small rooms like Korean's.

스카일러나 나나 삑사리 날 때까지 간주점프 해 가면서 한 시간 동안 엄청 많은 노래를 불렀다. ㅋㅋ

한 시간이 넘은 것 같은데 아무런 소식이 없자 나 조차도 슬슬 불안해지고 있었다;

Our voice started to creak.

We tried our hard to save any minute by skipping interludes and booking next songs while someone's singing.

It almost seemed like an hour had passed but there was still no notifications in the screens.

And it made me worried too.

알고보니 사장님이 서비스로 더 부를 수 있게 해주신 거였다.

덕분에 목소리 터질 때까지 딱 만족할 만큼 부를 수 있어서 (택스 포함) 20불이 아깝지 않았다.

It turned out that the nice owner let us sing more minutes to sing for free.

Thanks to her, we sang good enough and 20$ (with tax) was reasonable.

이 건물 이 층 전체가 노래방이었는데, 방도 넓고 최신 노래도 있어서

다음 둘루스 방문 때 노래방 가고 싶으면 어김없이 도레미노래방으로 갈 것 같다.

The whole second floor is Do Re Mi karaoke.

We might visit the karaoke next time too.

집으로 돌아가는 길, 끊임없는 차량들에 깜짝 놀랐는데 역시나 추돌사고가 있었다.

운전은 조심하고 또 조심해야 하는 것.

On the way back, there was a huge traffic jam on the other side.

There was a wreck of course.

알라바마 주는 복권 구입이 불가능해서 다른 주에 갈 때 복권을 사보는 게 또 하나의 묘미다.

조지아 주에서 돌아가는 길에 진짜 딱 두 주의 경계선에 있는 편의점에 들려 복권을 샀다. 

You can't buy lottery in Alabama.

So when we are in a different state, buying lottery is like a fun game.

We stopped by at the very last gas station in Georgia just next to state line.

집에 돌아가는 길에 노을이 너무나 이뻐서...

The sunset was so pretty.

비행기가 지나간 자리에 남은 비행운.

Contrails.

텍사스에 폭우가 내린 후로 기름값이 점점 올라가고 있는데,둘루스 근처 기름값은 무려 2.9 달러였다는....Ever since there was floor in Texas, gas price is getting higher and higher.We even saw one gas station where gas was 2.9$.

이번 스톤마운틴 + 둘루스 여행은 알차고 운도 좋았던 여행이어서 기억에 많이 남을 것 같다.

This trip will be unforgettable. :)
