애틀랜타 다운타운에서 묵을 장소로 웨스틴 피치트리 플라자 호텔을 고른 가장 큰 이유는

바로 이 호텔 꼭대기층에 위치한 회전식 레스토랑인 선다이얼에 가기 위해서였다.

우리가 이미 호텔을 예약하고 알게 된 사실은 레스토랑 회전을 더이상 운영하지 않는다는 것이었다. ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

The main reason why we chose The Westin Peachtree Plaza is because of their rotating restaurant Sundial on top.

After we booked this hotel we found out the restaurant doesn't rotate anymore.

어쨋든 환불 불가 조건으로 호텔을 예약한 거라서 일단 묵어보기로 결정.

We booked the hotel under nonrefundable condition, so we decided to give it a shot. 

점심을 먹고 웨스틴호텔에 체크인을 하러 갔다.

남편은 안좋은 후기만 잔뜩 읽은 터라 체크인도 정해진 시각인 3시에 해주지 않을 수도 있다며 겁을 줬다.

After lunch, we went to Westin Hotel to check in.

Skylar read only bad reviews about this hotel so he wasn't even sure that they would do check in on time.

그런데 웬걸, 체크인도 바로 해주고 방도 26층으로 배정받았다.

체크인 카운터 바로 옆에는 스타벅스도 있어서 묵는 동안 편리하게 이용했다.

But the receptionist checked us in right away and our room was arranged on the 26th.

Also there was Starbucks right next to the check in counter.

It was so convenient. :)

생각보다 훨씬 더 컸던 호텔 내부.

근사하고 깔끔한 인테리어에 안좋은 후기 걱정은 싹~

The inside of the hotel was much bigger than we thought it would be.

We forgot about the bad reviews as soon as we saw the nice interior. 

짐을 한켠에 두고 바로 뷰부터 확인

As we walked into the room, we put our suitcase and checked the view first.

커텐을 걷어내자 등장하는 빌딩숲...!

There were tall buildings when we opened the curtains.

화장실은 기대하던 욕조가 없었고 샤워부스가 있었다.

목욕하려고 러쉬밤까지 부지런히 챙겨갔건만...

그래도 샤워부스 깔끔하고 쓰기 편리했다.

In the bathroom, there was no bathtub.

I even brought Lush bath bomb to take a bath at the hotel lol.

But the shower booth was nice and neat..

침구가 너무 폭신해서 날 감싸안는 느낌이라 해야할까

이 날 잠을 정말 푹 잤다.

The bedding was amazing. It felt like the bed sheet and pillow covered my whole body.

I slept so well.

꽤나 높은 방이어서 아래를 내려다보면 아찔한 기분도 들었다.

잠깐 휴식을 취하고 조지아 아쿠아리움으로 향했다.

The room was on a high floor. 

When we looked down through the window, I almost felt dizzy.

We took a short break and headed to Georgia Aquarium.

호텔에서 좀만 걸으면 나오는 애틀랜타 올림픽공원과 관람차

Within a short walking distance was a ferris wheel and Olympic park.

그 뒤로 바로 보이는 우리 호텔, 웨스틴 피치호텔 플라자

And our hotel Westin Peachtree Plaza was right behind the ferris wheel.
