미국 앨라배마 주 헌츠빌 서점에서 산 스티커아트북

Barnes and Nobles, Bridge St.

헌츠빌에 위치한 더 브릿지 스트릿은 꽤나 큰 쇼핑몰이다.

오랜만에 책과 잡지를 구경하러 브릿지가에 위치한 반스앤노블스에 방문했다.

The bridge street is a big shopping center in Huntsville.

We went to Barnes & Nobles at Bridge St. to see magazines and books.

잡지 코너를 중점적으로 봤다.

특히 내가 좋아하는 코너는 Travels/ Watches.

I skimmed many magazines especially travel and watch magazines.

스카일러는 서점 바로 옆에 위치한 커피숍에서 커피를 샀다.

이 서점은 앉아서 책을 편하게 읽을 수 있도록 꾸며져 있어서 좋았다.

Skylar bought a coffee next to the magazine corner.

There were many benches so I could read books comfortably.

내가 구매한 첫번째 잡지는 LODESTARS 라는 여행 잡지.

거의 사진집 수준으로 방대한 양과 뉴질랜드 편이라는게 흥미로웠다.

아참, 영국에서 발행된 잡지임.

I bought two books at Barnes & Nobles.

This magazine is one of them and the name is LODESTARS, travel magazine.

It's almost like a collection of photographs.

The issue was all about New Zealand.

By the way this magazine is published in U.K.

안에 수록된 사진 퀄리티도 상당하여 보는 재미가 있고,

편집이 깔끔하게 되어있어서 25달러라는 금액의 압박에도 불구하고 소장해야겠다는 생각이 들었다.

The photos were high-quality. 

And I liked their simple editing.

Even though this magazine was sort of expensive but I had to keep it as soon as I found this.

아마 일년에 3-4부 발행되는 잡지인 듯하다.

매 잡지마다 한 나라를 집중 조사하여 안내해주는 잡지인데

다음 호는 내년에 발행되는 것 같았다. 

그 때도 꼭 서점에 방문해서 구매해야겠다.

I think they publish only 3 - 4 issues a year.

They research only about one country each issue.

It seemed like next issue to this one will be released next year.

I should get next one too.

두번째로 반스앤노블스에서 구매한 책은 스티커아트북, 스티커토피아.

바겐세일 중이어서 정가보다 저렴하게 구입했다.

Next one is a sticker book, Stickertopia.

This was on a discount so I bought it at a cheaper price.

이 스티커아트북의 극장점은 여러 개의 배경에 해당하는 스티커들이 있고,

자기 마음대로 원하는 곳에 부착할 수 있어서 스트레스를 받지 않는다.

보통 페인팅북이나 스티커아트북이라 할 지 언정 정해진 자리에 어긋나게 붙이면 스트레스 받기 십상인데

이건 전혀 그렇지 않다.

The best thing about this sticker book is that I can put stickers anywhere I want.

Usually there are certain areas to put stickers and when you miss the right areas, then you can get stressed.

But this one has many backgrounds and there's no rules!

배경도 엄청 다양하다. 한 30개 되는 것  같았고 그 퀄리티도 완전 짱짱함.

The background pages are about 30! The paintings look super great.

스티커들도 작고 많은데 테두리가 없어서 어느 곳에 붙여도 어색하지가 않다.

There are many stickers and they don't have borders.

So they look so natural in the backgrounds.

내가 선택한 맵은 The great barrier reef 였다.

책 앞뒤면에 부착된 샘플 완성그림을 보고 따라할 수도 있고 자유롭게 붙일 수도 있다.

I chose the great barrier reef for the first trial.

There are guide lines as well. So if you don't know where to put then you can refer.

그리하여 나랑 스카일러가 같이 붙여본 스티커북.

물고기 종류도 여러가지라 보는 재미도 있고 색감도 너무 아름답다.

Skylar and I just put stickers on our own.

The kinds of fishes were so variety and the colors were wonderful.

두번째로 도전한 배경:)

스티커토피아 테마는 총 3개 발견했는데

정글 테마랑 박물관 테마가 있었다.

특히 박물관은 아기자기한 소품들이 많아서 가지고 싶었는데

너무 욕심내는 걸까봐 망설였었는데 사지 않은걸 후회한다. ㅠㅠ

This was the second one.

I found three themes of Stickertopia which are jungle, museum and this theme.

The museum one had so many cute little stickers.

I should have gotten that one too. I'm regretting T_T
