미국 애틀랜타 뉴 핫플레이스 쇼핑센터 폰세시티마켓
Ton Ton Ramen, Ponce City Market

우리의 애틀랜타 여행 2일차 일정은 바로 애틀랜타 다운타운에 위치한 새로운 쇼핑센터, 폰세시티마켓에 가는 것이었다.
다운타운에 있는 괜찮은 쇼핑몰을 찾기가 어려웠는데
애틀랜타가 고향인 내 동료이자 친구인 프렌에게 물어보니 폰세시티마켓이란 곳을 추천해주었다.
Our second day was to shop at Ponce City Market in downtown Atlanta.
We were struggling where to shop near downtown,
I asked my cowerker&friend Fran from Atlanta, she recommended us going to Ponce City Market.
오픈한 지 얼마 되지 않아서 인터넷에 후기도 별로 없었는데 막상 가보니 생각보다 훨씬 더 좋아서
내 포스팅을 보고 괜찮은 쇼핑몰을 찾는 분들에게 도움이 되었으면 좋겠다!!!
It was a brand new shopping center so it doesn't have very many reviews on internet.
It was a very nice place so I wanted to introduce and share by posting it.
폰세시티마켓은 유료 주차장을 이용해야 하는데 parkmobile 이라는 어플리케이션을 이용하더라.
우리는 대략 4시간정도 이용했는데 8달러 밖에 안나왔다.
You have to pay for parking, you can use this application, Parkmobile to pay and check the time limit.
We parked for 4 hours and it costed only 8 dollars.
폰세시티마켓은 일요일에는 오후 12시에 개장하는데 이미 많은 사람들이 도착해 있었다.
우리도 주차하자마자 점심을 먹으러 미리 알아둔 톤톤 라멘으로 향했다.
Ponce City Market opens at noon on Sunday, there were so many people there already!
We headed to Ton Ton Ramen right after we parked.
우리가 주문한 건 삼겹살 꼬치 2개, 하카타 돈카츄 클래식 라멘 2개에 스파이시 밤을 추가로 주문했다.
We ordered two porkbelly yakitory -Skewer in Japanese-

오픈 키친이라 밥 먹으면서 요리 만드는 과정도 구경할 수 있다.

예쁜 일본풍 식기
I liked their spoons.
삼겹살 꼬치는 가격보다 약간 적은 양이었지만
그릴에 완벽하게 구워 정말 정말 맛있었다.
The skewers was not very much, it was perfectly grilled and very tasty!

저 소스가 정말 매운데 또 맛있다.

The sauce was very hot but also good :)
이건 남편 라멘. 처음 한 입 먹어보고 뭔가 맛이 아쉬운가 싶다가 저 스파이시 밤을 약간 넣어주니까 진짜 맛있어졌다.
국물도 굉장히 진하고 미국화가 덜 된 일본 전통 라멘 맛이라고 생각했다.
This is my husband's ramen.
When I first took a sip, I thought hmm, something is missing.
And I tried putting some of the spicy sauce, and it turned perfect!
Skylar tried that too and he agreed with me :)
I think those were very authentic japanese ramen.
남편이랑 나랑 둘다 깔끔하게 다 먹었다.
평소 국물은 좋아라하지 않는 남편이었지만 이 라멘 국물을 많이 먹을 정도로 맛있었다.
We finished the ramens.
Skylar doesn't even like to eat broth, but he couldn't stop eating it.
That means the ramen was very good.
단 라면 안에 있는 버섯은 별로였다.
맛이 약간 비누 같았음.
진짜 배부르게 잘 먹었다 :))
But I didn't like the mushrooms in the ramen, they tasted like a soap.
Anyways we were so satisfied.
진짜 멋진 매장들도 많았는데 그 중에서도 스카일러의 눈을 사로잡은 것은 바로 이 브루어리 매장.
배럴에서 바로 추출한 맥주를 포장해서 가져갈 수 있는 곳인데
쇼핑몰에 떠나기 전에 가서 사자해놓고 까먹은 남편 ㅎ
There were so many cool shops in the building.
This shop -To Go The Tap- caught his eye.
You can get a fresh beer right out of a barrel to go.
He was going to get one right before we leave the shop and he forgot to come back lol.
그 다음 남편이 가고 싶었던 곳은 심플리 서울이라고 퓨전 한식을 파는 곳이었다.
남편은 불고기 번을 구입했다.
And Skylar wanted to try the Korean restaurant -Simply Seoul-.
They sell fusion Korean food.
He got a bulgogi bun.
김치랑 약간 호떡같은 질감의 쫄깃한 번 안에 파채, 불고기, 완전 아삭하고 싱싱한 김치를 넣어 만든 번인데
가격도 저렴한 데다가 건강한 패스트푸드로 제격이었다.
It has fresh but not very kimchi in it, some green onions and bulgogi with buns.
The buns tasted kindof chewy in a good way.
It was a very affordable price and healthy fast food.
남편이 한 입 먹고 너무 맛있어서 나보고 먹어보라고 했는데
진짜 괜찮았다!!
다만 종업원 중에 한국인 혹은 미국인이지만 한국 음식에 잘 아는 사람이 없어서
사람들이 불고기가 대체 뭐냐고 물어봐도 잘 설명해 주지 못한 점은 아쉬웠다.
He tried it and insisted me try one bite too.
It was really good.
The only downside is that none of their employees were korean or american who knows well about Korean food.
So when people asked what bulgogi is, they couldn't explain to them.
톤톤 라멘에서 일본식 라면을 먹고 심플리 서울에서 한식도 먹고 :)
본격적인 쇼핑에 앞서서 기분 좋게 배를 채웠다.
We had a good lunch at Ton ton ramen and Simply seoul kitchen.
We were ready to shop!
