Gardening 2 :: 텃밭 상추 키우기 2

4월 7일 April 7th

드디어 상추 새싹 하나를 발견했다! 씨앗 심은지 3일째 되는 날이었다. 처음 발견한거라 더 의미있었다.

Finally I found this sprout. It was 3 days after I spread lettuce seeds.

It was so meaningful to me since this sprout was the first.

4월 10일 April 10th

마트에서 쪽파를 사다가 초록 부분은 다 잘라서 냉장고에 보관하고 하얀부분이랑 뿌리는 길러보기로 했다.

I bought these green onions at Foodland. I tried growing them.

그새 많은 새싹들이 발아했다. I found more sprouts. 

4월 11일 April 11th

나름 적당량을 심었다고 자부했었는데, 점점 많이 올라와서 화분을 사야겠다고 생각했다.

I believed that I spread enough seeds. I was founding more and more sprouts so I decided to buy another pot.

나랑 남편은 더트칩(재고떨이 가게)에 가서 위 보관함을 샀다. 각 각 8천원, 6천원 정도였다.

파를 여기에 옮겨줬다.

Skylar and I went to Dirtcheap and bought these containers which were for 7 and 5 dollars each.

I moved green onions into one of the planters.

4월 12일 April 12th

튼튼해보이는 새싹들만 남겨두고 속아냈다.

I left good sprouts and picked out rest of them.

그리고 이 큰 화분으로 옮겨주었다.

I moved some lettuce sprouts to this big planter.

아마존에서 샀던 한국 꽈리고추 씨앗과 적상추 씨앗이 도착했다. 얘네도 파 있는 곳에 같이 심어주었다.

저 꽈리고추 씨앗처럼 교배하여 만들어진 씨앗들은 염색되어 있다는 점이 흥미로웠다.

I got these korean pepper seeds and lettuce seeds on Amazon. I planted them in the planter where the green onions are too.

It was interesting that hybridized pepper seeds were dyed like that.
