채터누가 무료 셔틀버스를 타고 종착역에 내렸다.
우리가 탔던 버스 안에는 가족 단위 관광객들이 있어서 북적북적했지만, 그 나름대로 또 재미가 있었다.
전기로 운행되는 버스여서 친환경적이기까지 하다.
We got off the shuttle at the last stop.
There was a family of tourists and the bus was packed. It was still fun to ride a bus.
It was an eco-friendly electric bus.
버스 정류장에서 나와 대로변을 보면 채터누가 테네시 아쿠아리움이 위치해있다.
우리도 작년 겨울에 이 곳에 왔었는데 어느새 부부가 되어 이 장소에 또 왔다는 게 참 감회가 새로웠다.
When we went out of the bus stop, and we saw Tennessee Aquarium right away.
We went there last year and here we are again!
Time flies.
아쿠아리움은 저번에 본 관계로 지나쳐 우리가 향한 곳은 워터프론트 공원.
말그대로 테네시강변에 있는 공원이고, 아쿠아리움 빌딩과의 뷰를 보기 위해 그 곳을 향해 걸어갔다.
Since we visited the aquarium last time, we were just heading to the waterfront park through the aquarium.
여기 계단처럼 보이는 곳이 전체가 다 인공폭포인데 어쩐 일로 중단 중이었다.
알고보니 며칠 전부터 채터누가에 뮤직페스티벌이 한창 진행 중이라서 강변에는 무대 장비 설치 등으로 인해 접근이 금지되어 있었다.
남편은 이 멋진 공원을 보여주지 못해 아쉬움이 한가득이었지만,
나는 또 다리에서 내려다 보는 강변이 참 멋져서 보지 못한 부분은 다음 여행을 위해 남겨두기로 했다.
This bright brown color floor is an artificial water fall.
for some reason, it wasn't running.
It turned out that there was a music festival by the river and they blocked the whole area for stages.
Skylar thought that was a bummer, but we could still enjoy the beautiful view from the bridge.
We decided to save this place for the next trip.
아쿠아리움 옆 다리에는 인도가 있어서 걸어서 강을 내려다 볼 수 있다.
날씨도 맑은 데다가 많은 사람들이 보트, 카약을 즐기러 야외에 나와 있었다.
사진 속 배는 페달을 밟으면 앞으로 나가는 굉장히 독특한 보트였다.
사람들이 힘차게 페달을 밟고 있었다는.
There was a walking path on the bridge and you can look down the river.
The weather was so clear that many people went out to ride boats and kayaks.
In the boat in the middle there were people pedaling to move.
저기 보이는 다리가 월넛스트릿브릿지라고 보행자를 위한 다리여서 저 다리에 가보기로 했다.
Also the bridge in the picture is Walnut street bridge and it's a pedestrian bridge.
다리 맞은 편 뷰에는 모래 성을 근사하게 지어 놓았더라.
Before we left for Walnut St bridge, we saw this giant sand castle!
길을 건더 월넛브릿지로 향해 출발 'ㅅ'
이 길을 따라 걸으면 채터누가 유명 관광구역인 아트디스트릭트가 나온다.
우리가 가고자하는 디저트 카페 램브란트도 그 곳에 위치해 있다.
Along this street, you can go to Bluff view Art district.
There is the dessert cafe -Rembrandt's- too.
드디어 도착한 월넛브릿지.
이 다리는 차가 지나갈 수 없기 때문에 자유롭게 걸으며 구경할 수 있다.
This is the Walnut street bridge.
You can just walked along with it without worrying about cars.

절벽에 가깝게 지어놓은 박물관의 모습.
또 그 오른쪽으로는 유리 바닥으로 된 보행자 다리가 있다.
This is a view of Hunter museum from the bridge.
It was built on the cliff.
There is a glass floor pedestrian bridge to the right as well.
구불구불한 길이 그 유명한 샌프란시스코의 롬바드 길을 연상시킨다.
미술관에는 도시 전경을 볼 수 있는 관망대가 있어 다음 목적지로 당첨 :D
Look at the zigzag walking path!
That reminded me of the popular zigzag driving road -Lombard Street in San francisco-
We walked to the museum.
보행자 다리는 유리로 되어있지만, 반투명해서 그리 무섭지 않게 건너갈 수 있다.
This bridge is made in glass, but it doesn't freak you out.
헌터뮤지엄의 모습. 현대적인 디자인에 전시구경도 하고 싶은 마음이 굴뚝같았지만,
개인당 15달러인데다가 현재 전시 중인 그림전은 끌리는 게 없어서 패스!
This museum looks modern and I wanted to check it out,
But it costed 15 dollars per person and the current exhibitions were not very attractive. Maybe next time!
미술관 외부에는 파랗게 칠해져있는 (작품명 블루트리) 나무와 굵은 나무 줄기를 이용해 만든 말 모형이 있었다.
그 뒤로 전망대가 보인다.
The tree was painted blue and the work name was literally blue tree :)
I took a picture of Skylar with the cool looking horse made from dead tree branches.

더운 날씨에 지친 우리는 잠시 이 그늘에 쉬어가기로 했다.
We took a break in the shade here.
전망대로 나와 내려다 보이는 뷰는 또 다른 느낌.
다리 기둥에 페인트 칠을 하고 계신 분들도 보였다.
The view felt different from the observatory deck too.
There were some workers painting the bridge '-'a
미술관을 지나면 바로 아트 디스트릭트가 나온다.
You can go to the Art district after the museum.
여기 왼쪽 흰 건물이 바로 램브란트 디저트 카페.
정말 오랜만에 오는 카페여서 기대를 많이 하고 갔다.
This white building on the left is Rembrandt's dessert cafe.
I looked forward to this coffee shop a lot '3'

엄청나게 많은 디저트 종류에 눈이 돌아가기 일보직전이었다.
점심 먹기 전 간단히 배 채우기로 한 거라서 타르트 2개와 아이스아메리카노를 주문했다.
I couldn't take my eye off the nice desserts!
But it was before lunch, so we just filled our stomachs with light tarts and iced americano.
바깥에 나와 먹을 수도 있는데
생과일 타르트 맛은 달달하면서도 씹히는 맛이 있고 키라임 타르트는 시큼새콤한 맛이라 둘이 정말 잘 어울리는 조합이었다.
You can eat outside.
The fruit tart tasted sweet and had a nice texture.
The key lime tart was kind of sour so the two tarts were good to have together!

뭔가 동화같은 분위기의 디저트 카페였던 램브란트.
안그래도 작은 참새들이 옹기종기 모여들어 빵 조각 남는 거 있나 두리번 거리기도 했다.
I felt like I was in a fairy tale lol.
There were little sparrows and they were looking around for crumbs.
여기는 또 다른 야외 테이블 구역 :)
이 쪽 분위기도 참 멋져보였는데 우린 그늘에 앉고 싶어서 다른 자리를 선택했다 'ㅅ'
이 동네 전부가 다 근사해서 걷다보면 다 멋진 장소들이라 사진 찍기에도 아주 좋은 곳이었다.
This is a different outside area of the cafe.
This area looked cool, but we wanted to stay in shade.
This whole town looked so nice that it was perfect to take pictures!
