렘브란트 커피하우스에서 디저트를 먹고 난 후, 아트디스트릭트를 둘러보기 위해 카페 뒷문으로 나왔다.
이 주변에 레스토랑이 많은 것 같은데 하나같이 건물들이 너무 예쁘다.
물만난 고기마냥, 여기 저기 신나게 사진 찍고 돌아다녔다.
We finished the dessert at Rambrendt's Coffee House and walked through their back door.
There are many restaurants in this area and the buildings are so nice.
The whole town looked so cool, so we took so many pictures.
조금 더 걷다보면 큰 정원이 나오는데 여기가 또 사진 찍기 너무 좋은 곳이었다.
파란 하늘과 멋스러운 아이비로 뒤덮혀진 차고를 가진 4층 건물까지.
우리가 여기 도착했을 때에는 사람이 하나도 없었는데 하나 둘씩 모이기 시작했다.
We walked for a minute and met this garden.
The four story building with a garage covered with ivy looked so nice.
When we got there, there was no one!

저 왼쪽 조각상은 우리가 들렀던 크래프트 샵에서도 판매되고 있는 작품이었다.
이 정원에 기증한 건지는 모르겠지만 이 아트 디스트릭트에서 유명한 작품인가보다.
The sculpture was being sold at the craft shop next to Rembrandt's.
I'm not sure if they donated it to this garden, but it must be a famous work here.
여기도 정원 옆에 딸려있는 작은 공간인데, 노란 꽃들이 흐드러지게 피어있고 그 옆으로 작은 개울을 만들어 놓았다.
뒷 배경으로는 테네시 강이 보이는 멋있는 장소였다.
This place was just next to the garden.
There were yellow fully bloomed flowers and a stream.

아트디스트릭트를 대표하는 색깔은 파란색인지 파란색 나무도 보고 파란색 다리도 만났다. :D
I wonder if blue is chattanooga's main color? We saw the blue tree and this blue painted bridge.

예쁜 건물들이 많았는데 나중에 나이 들어 이런 곳에 살면 참 좋겠다 싶었다.
자동으로 떠오르는 생각은 이 집들이 얼마나 비쌀까 이런..-_-a
So many fancy houses made me want to live here when I'm older.
They must be so expensive.
점심시간이 훌쩍 지나 허기가 진 우리는 다시 셔틀 버스정류장으로 향했다.
Lunch time had already passed and we were so starving.
We headed back to the shuttle bus stop.
작년 겨울에 왔을 땐 테네시 아쿠아리움이 썰렁- 하던데 여름엔 아이들이 물놀이할 수 있도록 인공 풀도 개방해놓고,
심지어 마켓들도 즐비해 있었다!
Last time when we were here, there was nothing outside of the aquarium.
Now they have the small pools running for children and summer markets!
기다린지 한 5분 되었을까? 채터누가 추추로 향하는 셔틀버스가 도착했다.
이번 버스에는 우리를 포함해 겨우 5명만 탑승해서 아주 널널했다.
It was only 5 minutes waiting for the shuttle.
There were only 5 people including us in the bus.
이 길을 건너서 오르막길을 걸으면 바로 왼편에 비터 알리바이가 있다.
바 겸 레스토랑인데 독특한 점은 바로 "서울 트레인"이라는 메뉴가 있다는 거다.
미국 테네시주 채터누가 미국 바에서 한국도시 이름을 딴 메뉴가 있다는 소식에 들러보기로 했다.
On the hill was The bitter Alibi.
It's a bar and restaurant and they have this dish called "The Seoul Train"
I was so curious how a dish named after the Korean capital would taste in an american bar.

알록달록하게 페인팅된 건물도 있었다.
This building was so colorful and unique.
여기가 바로 비터 알리바이! 이 앞에 주차미터기가 있어서 바로 주차할 수 있는데 동전이 없어서 먼 곳에 주차하고 다시 왔다.
나중에 알고보니 저 알록달록한 건물 옆 주차장이 있는데 주말에는 누구나 주차 가능이었던 것 ㅜㅜ
This is the bar! There are parking meters and you can park right there,
But we didn't have any coins to put it in.
We had to park very far away and it turned out there was a huge parking lot next to the colorful building.
You can park there on the weekends.
지하 1층, 지상층, 2층으로 구성된 바였는데 우리는 지하로 내려가겠다 했더니 지하에는 아무도 없어서 거의 전세내다시피 한 층.
The bar has a basement and two floors.
We went to the basement and there were no people.
우리가 주문한 건 서울트레인이랑 돈콘폴로.
서버 분이 아시안이었는데 서울사람인지 무척 궁금했다.
그런 거 물어보는 건 예의가 아니라, 그냥 호기심만 마음에 담아두었지만,
만약 서울에서 온 사람이라면 그 분이 서울트레인이란 메뉴를 개발 혹은 명명했을 수도 있지 않았을까?
We ordered dishes named The Seoul Train and Don Con Pollo.
The server was asian and I was wondering if he is from Seoul or not.
I couldn't ask him directly because it might seem offensive.
But if that is so, maybe he was the one who made the dish or named it.
천장에는 명함들이 끼워져 있었는데, 한 명함은 눈물흘리는 눈 그림이었다.
어느 회사인지 궁금해지게 만드는 명함.
There were business cards on the ceilings.
The one with an eye crying looked so cool.
What kind of company would have business cards like that?
기다리는 중...
Waiting
왼쪽이 바로 서울트레인이고 오른쪽이 돈콘폴로.
오히려 서울트레인에는 밥이 없고 풀드포크+시금치+스리라차 소스+반숙 계란이었고,
돈콘폴로는 김치 맛 나는 브로콜리, 참기름 맛 나는 치킨 볶음밥이었다.
The left one is The seoul train and the right one is Don Con Pollo.
Seoul train doesn't have rice but the right one does lol.
Seoul train has pulled pork, spinach, sriracha sauce and half-cooked egg.
Broccoli in Don con pollo tasted like mild kimchi.
반숙 엄청 좋아하는데 완벽한 반숙 오랜만이다!
I like eggs cooked this much :)
남편이 한 입 맛보더니 깜놀. 맛있다면서!
He got surprised by how tasty it was!

신기하게 브로콜리는 맹맹한 김치 맛이었다. 남편은 치킨볶음밥이 너무 맛있다며 냠냠.
서버분도 너무 친절해서 아주 기분 좋게 점심을 먹을 수 있었다.
3시까지 주문은 런치메뉴였는데 우리가 2시 40분 쯤 주문했다 :)
He liked the fried chicken rice.
The server was so nice that we had a good time there.
You can order brunch menu till 3pm.
We luckily ordered at 2:40.
타지에서 먹어본 한국 맛 나는 음식들이라니! 가서 시도해보길 잘했다는 생각이 들었다.
How odd it was having a dish named after a Korean city in America.
I'm glad I tried it.
