Viet Cuisine
아이맥스로 영화 덩케르크를 본 후, 늦은 점심을 먹으러 베트남 음식점 Viet Cuisine에 가던 길이었다.
갑자기 맑은 하늘에 빗방울이 떨어지더니 이내 폭우마냥 퍼부었다.
We saw the movie Dunkirk in Imax earlier and headed to this Vietnamese restaurant, Viet Cuisine for a late lunch.
It suddenly poured in the sunny weather.

우리가 도착했을 땐 점심과 저녁 사이 애매한 시간이라 한 테이블에만 손님이 있었다.
아무대나 앉아도 된다고 해서 창가 테이블로 착석.
Since it was between lunch and dinner time, there was only one table taken when we got there.
The sever told us to sit wherever we want.

Viet Cuisine은 얼마 전에 리모델링해서 식당 내부가 깔끔하고 현대적이었다.
This restaurant was remodeled recently so it was clean and modern.

본 주문에 앞서 에피타이저로 스프링롤을 시켰는데 2개가 나왔고 대략 3달러였던걸로 기억한다.
저 소스가 뭔진 모르겠지만 땅콩이랑 버무러져서 엄청 맛있었다.
내가 고수를 잘 못먹는데 고수 빼달란 말을 깜빡했다.
그래서 일일히 하나씩 뺐는데, 너무 맛있어서 남편보고 한번 더 시키자고 했는데 거절당함 ㅠㅠ
We ordered spring rolls for an appetizer.
It costed about 3 dollars for two spring rolls.
I don't know what the sauce was, but it tasted soooo good with peanut toppings.
I don't like cilantro, but I forgot about that part of Vietnamese food.
So I just picked them out myself.
The spring roll was so good that I asked Skylar to order another. He denied '^'

메뉴는 대략적으로 7.5달러~9달러 사이여서 저렴하기까지 하다.
나는 Shrimp clay pot을 주문했다.
Most dishes are under 9 dollars, so they were affordable.
I ordered shrimp clay pot.

면일줄 알았는데 알고보니 죽순?이었고, 밥이 함께 담겨져 나오는데 나중에 바삭바삭해져서 꿀맛이다.
I thought the bamboo shoots were noodles.
It had rice on the bottom and it got caramelized.

이게 남편이 시킨 음식인데 이름은 모르겠다.
돼지고기 토핑은 숯불 양념고기 맛이랑 똑같은데 더 맛있다.
남편은 내가 숙주 좋아하는 걸 알아서 나한테 다 줬다는 :D
This is my husband's dish. I don't remember the name.
The pork tasted just like the pork from Vietnamese pork dish we tried in New York.
He knows that I love the bean sprouts, so he gave me all of them '3'

한입 크게 떠서 먹기. 너무 맛있다!!
오랜만에 정말 "맛집"이라고 부를만한 레스토랑을 찾았다.
I took a big bite. It was super good.
We found a really good restaurant for the first time in a long time.
남편음식은 좀 매콤했지만 매콤한대로 또 잘 먹었다.
남편도 맛집이라는 데에 동의했다.
His dish was kind of spicy, but he can eat spicy food.
He agreed that Viet Cuisine is a great restaurant.
다음번에 오면 남편 음식 시켜먹어보려고 한다.
내가 시킨 메뉴도 진짜 맛있었는데, 남편께 더 맛있었다.
I'm gonna order his dish next time because it was better than mine.
후식으로 버블티 타로맛을 투고로 포장해서 나왔다.
버블티 전문점이 아니라 주문하는데 회의적이었지만,
남편이 먹어보고 싶다해서 시켰는데 웬걸, 버블티도 대박이었다.
And we ordered a taro bubble tea to go.
I was being skeptical about ordering bubble tea here,
but Skylar wanted to try it and it turned out to be so good .
모든 게 다 맛있고 서비스나 가격, 인테리어 모두 다 만족한 곳!!
진짜 헌츠빌 맛집으로 인정합니다. bbb
Everything we ordered was great and the service, prices, and interior were satisfying.
This is the best restaurant in Huntsville so far!
앞으로도 자주 찾을 베트남 음식점, Viet Cuisine 별점은 5점만점에 5점.
We are going to visit here soon again and the rating is 5 out of 5.
