Christmas Shopping at Ponce City Market

폰세시티마켓은 안에도 북적이고 상점도 많은 데다가 건물 바깥에 또 상점들이 있었다.

시간이 없어서 바깥 상점은 아예 구경 못하고 스카이 바도 다음을 기약해야 했다.

Ponce City Market has so many shops in and out.

We didn't have enough time to see outside shops or the roof top bar either.

점심을 든든히 먹고 본격적으로 쇼핑에 나섰다.

처음 방문한 곳은 West elm 이라는 곳으로 인테리어 전반적인 소품을 팔았다.

After we had lunch, we started to shop.

The first shop we went to was West elm, they sell general interior items.

식기랑 인테리어 소품 보는 걸 좋아하는 나로서는 눈 돌아 갔다 @_@.

Their items caught my eye!

스카일러가 캐시디가 좋아할 거라면서 집어 든 컵 ㅋㅋ

마침 캐시디 친구가 크리스마스 선물로 해줘서 놀라웠을 따름.

Skylar said "Cassidy would like this cup."

It turns out that Cassidy's friend got her a plate with the same painting for Christmas lol.

스카일러가 시부모님 식기 새로 사드리고 싶다해서 여기서 구매했는데

저 쌀알에 식기 꽂아놓은 게 굉장히 이상했다.

한국에서 저렇게 했으면 죽은 사람 제사 지낸다고 생각했을지도..

Skylar wanted to buy new silverware for his parents.

So we bought some at this shop.

putting silverware in a cup filled with rice seemed weird.

Because it could seem like a ritual thing for dead people if you did that in Korea '-'a

다른 상점으로 이동~~!

We headed to a next shop!

냄새가 너무 좋아서 시엄마 로션을 구입

These lotions smelled so good, we bought one for my mother in law.

이젠 윗층으로 올라가봤다.

And we went upstairs.

산타 할아버지가 아이들과 인사하고 있었다.

There was a Santa clause with children.

또 반대편 줄은 그린치가 있었는데 줄이 엄청 길었다.

And the opposite line was for Grinch.

또 2층에는 예상치 못하게 작은 미술관도 있었다.

There was a mini art museum unexpectedly.

수영장에 물에 발 담그고 있는 그림인데 왜인지 모르게 편안한 느낌을 준다.

This painting makes me comfortable looking at it for some reason.

그림을 블러처리한 것 처럼 만들었다.

The painting was blurry on purpose!

생각보다 독특하고 볼만한 전시였다!

This was a good exhibition :)

바깥에서는 비가 추적추적 내리기 시작했다.

실내에서 쇼핑하는 게 이런 날씨엔 제격 b

It was a perfect day for shopping indoors lol.

크리스마스 선물 찾아 삼매경 ~_~

We were looking for good Christmas gifts everywhere.

이 신발 시동생한테 어울릴 거 같았는데

가격표 보고 살며시 다시 내려놓음; ㅎ

I thought these boots would look good on my sister in law.

As soon as I checked the price tag, I put them back lol.

스카일러가 잠깐 와보라며 내가 좋아할 만한 곳이 있다고 해서 봤더니

식물 천지 !_! 플랜테이션에 관심이 있던 1인으로서 독특한 식물들 구경할 수 있어서 좋았다.

Skylar told me to come over saying there's a corner I will like!

There were unique indoor plants.

별에 별 상점을 다 들어가 봤음; ㅋㅋ

We tried to check almost every indoor shop.

이제는 건물 외부에 있는 상점들로 고고

And we went to shops outside of the building.

다니엘 웰링턴 시계가 애틀랜타에도 있다니 신기했다.

예전 명품 주얼리/시계 어시스턴트 바이어 했을 때 기억이 나게 해주는 브랜드다. ㅠㅠ

This watch brand reminds me of my last job as luxury jewelry & watch buyer.

고급 문구점에 맘에 드는 문구류들도 많았다. 가격은 사악함

This shop's stationery was all cute.

남편 옷 쇼핑까지 마친 뒤 이제 집으로 향해서 고고

Skylar bought some clothes and we drove home.

애틀랜타 다운타운 빌딩숲을 통과하면서 이번 포스팅 끝~!
