앨라배마 주 어번 추천 메리어트 호텔

다음날 시동생의 졸업식에 참가하기 위해 묵을 호텔로 코트야트 바이 메리어트 어번 호텔을 골랐다. 구글평을 보면 깨끗하다는 후기가 굉장히 많았고 최근에 리모델링해서 깔끔하다는 평이 주를 이루었기 때문이었다. 평점도 놀랍게도 거의 만점에 가깝다. 졸업식 때문에 어번 시내에서 호텔을 찾기가 굉장히 어려웠는데도 불구하고 정말 괜찮은 가격에 좋은 호텔에서 묵을 수 있어서 다행이었다.

To participate my sister in law's graduation at Auburn University next day, we picked Courtyard by Marriott Auburn to spend a night. There were so many reviews that this hotel rooms were so clean and this hotel was recently remodeled on Google. Even the ratings are very close to perfect score. It was hard to find a hotel in downtown right before the graduation, we luckily found this nice hotel with reasonable price.

시동생의 아파트와도 8분 거리였고 어번 시내와도 9분밖에 걸리지 않아서 거리도 아주 적당했다. 우리 호텔 바로 옆에는 투루 바이 힐튼이라는 저렴이 버전 힐튼 호텔도 있었다. 

It was only 8 minutes away from her apartment and it only took us to get to the downtown within 9 minutes. There was another hotel right next to our hotel which was Tru By Hilton.

호텔 문을 열고 맞은 첫인상은 굉장했다. 기대했던 것보다 더 좋았다. 겨우 구했던 방이 더블 베드였지만 그 나름대로 방이 더 넓어보이기까지 했다.

The first impression was amazing! It was beyond our expectations. We didn't really have many options to choose rooms so we had to choose a double bed room. But it actually made the room bigger somehow!

햇빛이 잘 들어오는 창가 옆으로는 작은 소파도 마련되어 있었다.

There was a small couch next to the window.

역시 최근에 리모델링해서인지 카펫이나 벽지 상태가 정말 좋았고 깔끔했다. 물론 작은 냉장고, 커피포트도 마련되어 있었다.

The carpet and wall conditions were nice. It had a small fridge and coffee maker.

화장실은 바로 문 옆에 있었는데 화장실도 넓었고 깨끗했다. 호텔 고를 때 청결상태가 정말 중요한데 이정도면 합격이다!!

Bathroom was right next to the door. It was roomy and clean! Cleanness is the most important part when we choose a hotel. 

다음날 아침에 발견했는데 어메니티가 비누랑 희안하게도 컨디셔너 두개밖에 없어서 카운터에 전화해보니 내려와서 받으라고 했다. 남편이 내려가니 샴푸 2개를 더 주셨고, 커피도 무료로 주셨다고 한다. 호텔 로비에 스타벅스 커피를 파는 커피점이 있는데 아직 문을 열지 않아서인지 무료로 커피를 주신 것 같다고 했다.

We noticed that we only got a complimentary conditioner and soap early next morning lol. Skylar called the counter and asked the lady and she told him to come downstairs. She gave him two shampoos and free coffee. There is a cafe that serves Starbucks coffee at the lobby but it wasn't open at the moment. That's why she probably made him a free coffee.

침대 매트리스와 침구류도 편안해서 까다로운 남편도 이날은 정말 꿀잠을 잤다고 한다.

The bedding was so good that even my picky husband slept so well.

우리가 실수한 건 수영복을 챙겨가지 않았다는 것. 이날 날씨도 화창하고 수영하는 사람도 거의 없어서 우리만의 전용 풀장이 될 뻔 했는데 그 기회를 날려버렸다. ㅠㅠ 수영장 바로 옆에는 캠프파이어 공간도 작게 마련되어 있어서 이날 저녁에는 꽤나 많은 사람들이 둘러 앉아 담소를 나누기도 했다.

Our biggest mistake was that we didn't bring swimsuits. It could have been perfect for us to swim in the pool! Because there weren't very many people at the pool and the weather was perfectly warm and sunny. There is a fire pit place right next to the pool. Many people sat around there and talked to each other at night.

단점이 있다면 큰 도로 옆이라서 차 소리가 크게 들리기도 했는데 우리가 일요일 저녁에 묵은 덕분인지 통행량이 많지 않아서 저녁이 되자 소음이 거의 줄어들었다. 만약 금요일이나 토요일이었다면 소음이 더 거슬렸을 수도 있을 것 같다.

This hotel did have a downside. It is so close to the interstate? (or big roads) We could hear noises from cars so easily. But since it was sunday night, there was not much traffic outside. So it didn't really affect us. But I'm not sure Friday or Saturday nights.

1박에 100-170 달러 가격으로 묵을 수 있었던 가성비 갑 호텔, 코트야트 바이 메리어트 어번.

어번에서 묵을 호텔을 찾고 있다면 이 호텔, 아주 아주 강추한다!!

Overall, this hotel is amazing for the price range between 100 and 170$. 

If you're looking for a nice hotel in Auburn, I highly recommend this hotel!
