뉴욕 코리아타운 맛집 Take 31

작년에 뉴욕에 왔을 때 뉴욕 한인타운에 들러볼 겨를도 없었는데 이번엔 시간이 나서 저녁을 먹으러 가기로 했다. 우리가 고심해서 고른 한식집은 바로 Take 31으로 퓨전 한식집이다. 인기가 많은 음식점이라 대기가 있다해서 마음의 준비를 하고 갔는데 식당 오픈 시간이 얼마 안지나 갔더니 대기없이 입장 가능했다. (저녁에 문을 여는 바 겸 음식점)

We didn't have time to go to Korea Town last year, but we had during this trip. We picked this Korean restaurant named Take 31. This is a popular place and we were ready to wait to get it. But we could enter without waiting since we got there when the bar / restaurant just opened.

이건 반찬 겸용으로 나오는 무한리필 떡볶이인데 떡이 쫄깃하고 소스도 정말 맛있었다. 얼마만에 먹는 제대로 된 떡볶이인지.. ㅠㅠ! 스카일러도 맛있다고 했다.

This is Dduk-bok-gi which is plain chopped rice cake with sweet spicy sauce. They serve you this dish when you order food. It was authentic Dduk-bok-gi for the first time in a long time. 

우리가 에피타이저(?)로 고른 복숭아 막걸이랑 유자 소주 칵테일을 주문했는데 놀랍게도 알코올 향이 강하지 않고 유자 슬러쉬 같아서 정말 정말 맛있었다. ㅋㅋ 스카일러 막걸리도 정말 맛있어서 금방 동이 났다. ㅋㅋ

We ordered peach mak-gul-li and yuzu soju cocktail as appetizer lol. Yuzu cocktail didn't have much alcohol smell but still strong. It was so good. Skylar loved his mak-gul-li too.

이건 take 31의 시그니처 메뉴 급인 인절미삼겹살이다. 꼭 이걸 주문하라는 리뷰를 보고 왔어서 얼마나 맛있길래 그럴까 했다. 한식치고도 굉장히 실험적으로 보였던 메뉴. 겉면에 치즈 처럼 얇게 따뜻한 인절미가 띠로 둘러져있고 삼겹살의 겉면이 아주 바삭하게 익혀져있는데 그 안에는 또 부드러운 식감이었다.

This is one their popular dishes, In-jul-mi porkbelly. They put thin layered ricecake (like cheese) around the porkbelly and the outside of porkbelly was well-cooked and crispy and the inside was tender. 

인절미 가루도 살짝 묻혀서 먹어봤는데 이 식감이 정말 최고다. 바삭+부드러움이 한번에.. 저 인절미 테두리도 신의 한수. 진짜 맛있었다. 또 이 곳에 가도 이 메뉴는 꼭 시킬 것 같다.

We tried putting some in-jul-mi powder on the porkbelly. It was the best!!! It's kind of experimental Korean fusion dish. This place could blow out restaurants in Korea. I would order this dish next time again.

이거는 '족발과 보쌈사이'라는 메뉴인데 어쩌다보니 보쌈만 두개나 시켜버린... 이것도 정말 맛있었는데 인절미 삼겹살의 강한 임팩트에 이 메뉴는 살짝 묻혀버린..

This is their other popular dish, steamed porkbelly. We ended up with two porkbelly dishes. This one was good as well. But the other dish gave me a too good impression lol.

우리가 다 먹고 나갈 때 되자 발 디딜 틈 없이 붐볐던 테이크 31. 진짜 맛있으니깐 다들 한 번씩 가보시길~!

By the time we left the place, the restaurant was so crowded with people. I recommend this Korean restaurant!!!
