거진 한 달만에 돌아온 채터누가 다운타운에서 점심을 먹기위해 고른 장소는 바로 퍼블릭하우스. 요즘 다운타운 채터누가에 괜찮은 식당들이 정말 많았는데 그 중에서도 런치로 부담이 없으면서 다양한 메뉴가 있는 레스토랑인 퍼블릭하우스에 가보기로 했다.

We came back to downtown Chattanooga in a month! We chose this restaurant named Public House for lunch. There are many fine dinings in Chattanooga these days, this restaurant wasn't too pricey but had many dishes. 

 

웨어하우스 로 라는 빌딩 앞부분에 위치한 퍼블릭 하우스. 시간이 있었더라면 이 쇼핑몰 내부도 돌아다녀봤을텐데 아쉬웠다.

The restaurant is in located in a building named Warehouse Row. If we had enough time, we would have checked out the mall too.

주차는 바로 옆 건물인 이 곳에 한다. 티켓을 끊은 뒤 레스토랑에 보여주면 주차비가 무료다.

우리가 고른 런치 메뉴는 송어와 로스트 비프 그리고 삼겹살을 주문했다.

We ordered the sauteed carolina trout, red wine braised pot roast and porkbelly.

런치 메인 디쉬에는 2가지 사이드 디쉬를 고를 수 있고 작은 할라피뇨 체다 머핀이 제공된다. 나는 갈릭 그린빈과 베이컨양배추볶음을 사이드 디쉬로 골랐고 송어는 작은 사이즈였는데도 양이 알맞았다.

Lunch main plates come with two side dishes and a mini jalapeno cheddar muffin. I chose garlic green beans and braised bacon & cabbage. 

예상치 못하게 김치와 함께 서빙된 삼겹살!! 한식이 아메리칸다이닝에 은근히 스며드는 방식이 매우 맘에 든다. 김치는 물론 맵거나 신맛나는 그런 김치라기보단 단맛에 가까운 양배추 절임이라 보면 될 것 같다. 삼겹살을 살짝 오버쿡 된 것 같았지만 바삭바삭해서 맛있었다. 두께도 꽤 두꺼웠음!

We didn't know they'd serve the porkbelly with kimchi. That kimchi didn't taste like authentic kimchi but it was good without spicy or sour taste. It tasted more like sweeter version of sauerkraut. The porkbelly seemed overcooked but it was still good and crispy! I liked the thickness too.

이건 남편 런치 메뉴인데 레드와인으로 요리한 정말 부드러웠던 로스트비프와 맥앤치즈, 매쉬드포테이토를 골랐다.

This is what Skylar got red wine braised pot roast, mac and cheese and mashed potato.

실패한 항공샷...ㅎ

이 송어 정말 부드럽고 맛있었다. 비린내도 전혀 나지 않아서 해산물 초보자인 남편도 정말 맛있다고 했다. 나도 정말 만족스러웠음

This trout was really good! It didn't taste any fishy so even Skylar really liked it!

런치라서 콩알만한 로스트비프였지만 사이드디쉬까지 합하니 점심으로 양이 딱이었다.

The roast beef wasn't very much but with the two side dishes, it was perfect amount for lunch.

우리 둘다 좋아하는 JMT 삼겹살도 클리어ㅓㅓㅓ

We finished this porkbelly too.

점심으로 큰 기대없이 왔는데 메뉴도 정말 다양하고 서버분도 맘에 들었고 모든 게 다 마음에 들었던 퍼블릭하우스. 남편이 먼저 다시오자고 했다. 나도 꼭 다시오고 싶다~!!!

We didn't expect too much, but there were so many good dishes to choose from, we liked the server and everything about this place! Skylar told me we should come back here again lol.
