　　요즘 스위스 여행에서 필수코스로 자리잡는 중인 블라우제 호수에 우리도 가보기로 했다. 그린델발트에서 블라우제까지 가는 길이 쉽지는 않아서 기차로 잘못타기도 했지만, 그래도 막상 가보니 정말 오기 잘했던 블라우제 호수.

　　Lake Blausee is getting more and more popular with Korean travelers. We decided to check out the place too! It wasn't very easy to get to Blausee from Grindelwald, we even got lost once. But when we got to the lake, it was really worth it.

스피츠 역 On the way to Blausee

스피츠역에서 블라우제 호수로 가는 기차 방향과 반대 방향인 열차에 올라타는 바람에 얼떨결에 정차하게 된 곳. 이 곳에서 한 30분은 넘게 기다렸던 것 같다. ㅠㅠ

We got on a wrong train at Spiez station. We had to wait for a next train more than 30 minutes.

다시 돌아온 스피츠 역에서 다음 열차까지 시간이 남아서 잠깐 밖에 나가보기로 했다. 터널 같은 기차역을 나오면...!

We came back to Spiez station. There was some time until the next "Right" train, so we went out.

스피츠 역에 나오면 튠 호수와 동화 같은 마을이 나온다. 비가 막 그친 모습이었던 스피츠.

You see Thun and beautiful town. It looked like it just stopped raining.

역시 스위스는 날씨가 맑아야 한다. 갑자기 맑아진 날씨에 덩달아 풍경도 더 더 예뻐졌다.

Weather is the key of Switzerland travel. The clear weather made everything look even prettier.

스피츠 기차역 Spiez Station

우리 열차 시간이 거의 다 되어 아름다운 스피츠를 뒤로 하고 기차역으로 향했다.

It was about time for us to get on the next train.

블라우제 Blausee

다행이 제대로 된 방향의 열차를 타고. 프루티겐 역에 내리자, 바로 앞에 블라우제 호수로 향하는 버스가 기다리고 있었다. 재빠르게 탑승하여, 드디어 블라우제에 도착!

Finally we got on the right train and off at Frutigen Station. There was a bus waiting to Lake Blausee at the station. We made it!

입장권을 구매하고 들어오자 숲 길이 나타났다. 촉촉한 흙과 나무 냄새~!! 스카일러가 이거 호수 맞냐며, 내가 잠깐만 기다려 보라고 그랬다. -_-

We bought tickets, walked in and saw this forest. Skylar was doubting there would be a lake here. I told him "just wait and see."

블라우제 호수 Lake Blausee

무료 보트 Free Rowboat

숲 길을 지나오자, 에메랄드 빛의 블라우제 호수가 우리를 맞아줬다. 물 색이 정말 말도 안되게 맑고 예뻤다. 사진으로 다 담지 못 한다는 게 사실이었다. 여기 오기 전 사진으로 많이 봤지만, 실제로는 훨씬 더 예뻤다.

As we passed the forest path, Lake Blausee welcomed us. The lake color was unbelievable. Pictures don't do justice. It was crazy!!

Rainbow Trouts

이 아름다운 빙하수에는 자연산 송어들이 죽을 때까지 이 곳에 머물며 산다고 한다.

In this beautiful lake, there are rainbow trouts that stay in this lake until they die.

입장료에는 나룻배 1회 탑승권이 포함되어 있어서 보트 선착장에서 다음 차례를 기다렸다.

You can ride the rowboat once without extra cost. We were waiting for our turn at the dock.

대략 8명 정도 탑승했는데, 웃긴 건 스카일러와 노 젓는 분 빼고 모두 한국분이셨다.

There were 8-9 people in the boat. They were all Koreans except Skylar and the rower.

블라우제 전설 Legend of Blausee

노 젓는 분께 매일 일하시냐고 물어봤는데, 일주일에 두 번, 블라우제로 노 젓는 일을 하러 오신다고 했다.

We asked if he rows every day. He said he rows this boat only twice a week.

이 다리가 베스트 포토스팟이라 한다.

전설 속 푸른 눈의 여인 Statue of the Legend

그리곤 블라우제 호수 전설에 대해 설명해주시기 시작했다. 이 곳은 옛날 엄청나게 푸른 눈을 가진 여인과 그 가족이 호숫가에 살았는데 이 곳을 들르는 양치기 청년이 있었다고 한다. 이 여인과 양치기 청년은 사랑에 빠졌는데, 어느 날 양치기 청년이 산에서 떨어져 죽었다는 이야기를 전해듣게 된다. 그 후 여인은 슬픔에 잠겨, 한밤 중 보트를 타고 이 호숫가에 나와 그 푸른 눈으로 울고 또 울었다. 그녀의 눈물이 호수를 푸른 빛으로 물들었고, 다음 날 여인은 이 호수 바닥에서 발견이 되었다는 이야기였다.

He started telling us the story about Blausee. Once upon a time, there was a lady who had very very blue eyes. Her family lived by the lake and there was a shepherd who always came by. They fall in love. One day, he fell in the mountains and died. Somebody told the lady that he died. One night, she went out in a boat, and she cried and cried out of her beautiful blue eyes. until the lake turned blue. Next day, they found her body at the bottom of the lake.

이 호수가 생기게 된 배경은 어느 날 산 위에 있던 큰 빙하가 떨어져 이 곳에 큰 구덩이를 만들고 주변 빙하수들이 이틀에 한번씩 흘러 들어와 새로운 물을 공급한다는 것이다. 또 주변의 나무들이 호수 안으로 쓰러지기도 해, 물 속에 종종 나무 기둥이 보이는데, 이런 환경을 송어들이 무척이나 좋아해서 굳이 나무를 치우려고 하지 않는다고 하셨다.

Glacier fell down from the mountain, made a crater and melted to create the lake. The lake refreshes every other day from springs and streams. That's why it is so clear. Some trees fell down and sank into the water. But they left them there because the trouts like them.
