주말 채터누가 맛집 Tony's Pasta Shop & Trattoria 다녀오기 Chattanooga,Tennessee

　　예전 가족이 방문했을 때 채터누가 토니 파스타집에 간 적이 있었는데, 급 파스타가 당겨서 다녀왔다. 저번에 먹은 메뉴보다 훨씬 맛있어서 성공적이었다.

　　We went to Tony's Pasta in Chattanooga that we took my family to. I tried a different spaghetti from last time, it was so much better!

채터누가 블러프 뷰 Bluff View, Art District

채터누가 예술의 거리 정도 되는 블러프 뷰에 가기 위해 테네시 아쿠아리움 길 건너 편 주차장을 이용했다. 우리는 넉넉히 잡아서 2-5시간 짜리 12불을 지불했다.

We parked in this parking lot right across the street from Tennessee aquarium. It was $12 for 2-5 hours.

파란 철제다리가 월넛브릿지, 회색 건물이 헌터뮤지엄

조금 걸어 올라가면 그 유명한 채터누가 보행자 전용다리 월넛 브릿지가 보이고 그 오른쪽, 헌터 뮤지엄쪽으로 방향을 틀어 걷다보면 램브란트 커피집이 나온다.

It was really pretty near Myriam's airbnb. We took a few pictures with Swiss chalets and dandelions in the background. It was sunny from the morning.

커피숍 바로 옆에 작은 주택 같은 건물이 토니스 파스타이다. 주말 점심시간대라 사람들이 북적였다. 대기명단에 이름 올리고 한 5분 정도 지나자 2층에 자리가 났다.

There were many people waiting in the restaurant. We put our names on the waiting list and we got called 5 minutes after.

저번 방문에는 1층에서 먹어서 2층이 있는지 몰랐는데 이번엔 2층에 있는 창가 옆 테이블로 안내받았다. 마음에 들었음!

I didn't notice of the second floor. Because we had lunch on the first floor last time. I liked the second floor right next to a window better.

토니스 파스타 메뉴

나는 Spaghetti Con Crudo 라는 메뉴를 시키고 스카일러는 저번과 똑같이 시그니처 메뉴인 치킨 파마산을 주문했다. 오늘의 수프도 주문하려 했는데 토요일에는 안하는 지, 없다고 했다.

I ordered Spaghetti Con Crudo, Skylar ordered the same dish as last time, Chicken Parmesan. Also, we were going to get a soup of the day, they told me it wasn't available.

토니스 식전빵과 올리브 오일. 하나는 일반 빵, 다른 하나는 통마늘 빵이다. 진짜 통마늘이 군데 군데 박혀있다. ㅋㅋ

They served bread with olive oil before the meal. One bread is plain and the other one has garlic gloves in it.

 오일파스타 Spaghetti Con Crudo

나는 사진을 안보고 그냥 메뉴판에 재료만 확인하고 주문한거라, 토마토 소스 스파게티일 줄 알았는데 오일파스타였다. 이 점이 더욱 마음에 들었다! 싱싱한 토마토와 올리브오일, 마늘과 잣이 잘 어우러졌다. 특히 미국에서 잣 본 건 처음 아니지 싶다. 

I didn't know my dish would be an oil spaghetti. Because I only checked the ingredients and saw tomatoes in it. But I liked the fact it was an oil pasta after all with fresh diced tomatoes. It was my first time to see a dish with pine nuts.

스카일러의 스파게티도 맛있었다. 듬뿍 얹어진 파마산 치즈 아래에는 치킨까스가 있다. 바삭한 치킨까스와 치즈의 조합.... 거기다 토마토 스파게티까지. 토니스에 방문한다면 이 메뉴도 시켜보시길.

Skylar's chicken parmesan was good as well. Under parmesan cheese, there is fried chicken cutlet. I recommend this dish.

오일파스타다 보니 자칫 느끼해지기 십상이라 이때쯤이면 김치가 그리워진다. 그래서 고추가루..라도 달라고 해서 뿌려먹었더니 더 맛있었다!! ㅋㅋ

It got a bit oily, I wished there was something spicy such as Kimchi. I asked the server for red pepper flakes. It made the pasta spicy and good.

토니스 파스타에서 밥 먹고 램브란트에서 후식하면 딱이다. 스카일러가 이번엔 다른 커피숍에 가보고 싶어서 스킵했는데 날씨가 정말 더워서 결국 다른 곳도 안가서, 램브란트 커피숍 갈껄 후회했음...

Rambrandt's Coffee House is right next to Tony's Pasta. Skylar wanted to skip to try another cafe. Eventually we didn't go neither of them. Because it was so hot to walk. I regretted not going to this cafe.

이 근처에 새로 생긴 에드윈 호텔도 보인다. 눈 여겨 보고 있음... 나름 메리어트 호텔이었던듯. 메리어트호텔이 에드윈 라인에 왜 꽂힌 건지 모르곘으나, 조만간 떠나는 시카고 여행에 이 계열 호텔을 예약해두었다.

We saw this new Marriott hotel on the way back. I don't know why Marriott suddenly have Edwin hotels but we have booked one of Marriott Edwin hotels for our Chicago trip. 

다음에는 채터누가에서 자전거 빌려서 돌아다녀보는 걸로! 이 날은 너무 찜통같이 더워서 패스-

We might try riding bikes next time in Chattanooga.

채터누가 명물인 테네시 아쿠아리움 앞에서는 소소한 마켓도 열려있어서 천천히 구경도 해보고 집으로 향했다.

There was a market going on in front of Tennessee Aquarium. We checked it out and headed back home.

테네시 채터누가는 우리가 종종 나중에 살면 좋겠다고 이야기하는 도시. 또 다시 방문할게!

We sometimes say if we ever move, it would be to Chattanooga. We like this city. We will come back soon.
