What we ate in Las Vegas

1. District Donuts (강력추천)

첫번째로 소개할 맛집은 한국인들에겐 비교적 덜 알려진, 우리가 묵은 코스모폴리탄 호텔 2층에 위치한 디스트릭트 도넛집이다. 우연히 발견한 맛집이라 더욱 애정이 간다. 글레이즈드 도넛과 커피를 시켰는데, 둘 다 정말 정말 맛있어서 그 다음날에 또 갔다. 커피가 쓰거나 신맛이 아니고 고소했음. 도넛 종류도 많았는데, 다른 맛들도 맛있을 거 같다.

We tried this place's donuts and coffee. They were so good that we went there next day again. They have many different kinds of donuts. I am sure all of them will be good. We tried only glazed donuts. 

2. Eggslut (강력추천)

에그슬럿은 유명세가 엄청나서 오히려 기대치가 낮았던 곳. 스크램블에그가 해봤자 거기서 거기지 라고 얕잡아봤다가 큰 코 다쳤다. 계란이 정말 푹신푹신하고, 이런 촉감을 낼 수 있었는지 감탄하며 먹었던 곳. 꼭 꼭 한번 드셔보시라고 추천. 보기드문 명성에 걸맞는 맛집~! 이 곳 또한 코스모폴리탄 호텔 내에 위치하고 있음.

I didn't expect too much from Eggslut. I didn't think scumbled eggs could be that good The texture was amazingly good. I was really surprised. Even though there is always a long waiting line. It's worth it to give it a try.

3. Room Service (만족)

원래 룸서비스는 가격대가 비싸서 안시켜봤는데 처음으로 스파게티를 주문해봄.... 비쌌지만 정말 정말 맛있었다!!! ㅎ

I hadn't used room service before because I thought it was overpriced. I craved spaghetti on this day and tried room service. It was really good. It was expensive as well....

4. Wicked Spoon (보통과 비추사이)

지금 1번부터 4번까지 전부 다 코스모폴리탄 호텔 내에 있는 곳이다; 호텔 안에서 해결하려고 애쓴 게 티가 난다. ㅋㅋ 여기는 스카일러가 제안해서 가게 된 뷔폐. 한국인 블로거들 후기를 봤을 때 별로 만족스럽지 않을 거란 걸 알았다. 가격대도 비싼데, 맛이 기대에 정말 못미친다. 차가운 음식도 많고 아시안음식에 대한 이해도가 많이 떨어지는 것 같다. 스카일러는 서양음식을 많이 먹고는 만족해했음.

So far all the restaurants I introduced are located in the Cosmopolitan. You can tell we tried to stay in our resort. This buffet was Skylar's idea. I knew this wouldn't be good because not many Korean bloggers recommended. I agreed. Their Asian dishes were not good for the price. Skylar was happy with his Western food.

5. Chosun Hwaro (만족과 보통사이)

한식이 먹고 싶었는데, 마침 우리 호텔과 가까운 헐리우드플레넷에 위치한 한식집 조선화로를 방문했다. 스카일러는 불고기, 나는 설렁탕을 주문했는데 정말 한국에서 먹는 식사같았다. 혹시 부모님과 함께 라스베가스를 방문했다면 이 식당을 추천한다. 이바돔감자탕에서 낸 곳이라던데, 퓨전 한식이 아니고 정말 딱 한국맛. 다른 테이블은 고기도 엄청 시켜서 먹었는데 고기 질이 좋아보였다.

There was a Korean restaurant close to our hotel. Skylar ordered Bulgogi and I got Sullungtang (Beef broth stew with brisket) Since it's own by a popular restaurant chain in Korea, their food was authentic. Other tables ordered BBQ. The meat looked really fresh.

6. Hot & Juicy (강력추천)

이 곳도 한국인들에게 유명한 맛집이다. 가보면 백인은 거의 없다. 스카일러 말로는 매운 걸 잘 못먹는다나? 그래서 인종 비율이 흑인, 아시안이 정말 많다 ㅋㅋ 우리는 원없이 시켰다. 조개, 새우, 그리고 게다리까지. 다 먹을 수 있을까 했지만 다 먹었다!! 가격도 엄청 비싸지 않음 ㅋㅋㅋ 소스는 핫앤쥬시가 제일로 맛있다. 조개는 무슨 버터 들어간 소스를 주문했는데 그저그랬음. 웨이팅이 길어서 안에서 기다리거나 아니면 문자로 안내를 해준다. 우리는 아마 30분 기다려서 먹은듯?? 스카일러와 나 둘다 맛있다고 생각한 곳

This is one of must-go places to Koreans in Las Vegas. It is spicy steamed seafood restaurant. Skylar noticed there were only a few white people in the restaurant. He thought it was because not many white people can handle spicy food. We ordered shrimp, clams and crab legs. We were not sure if we could eat all that. We did it!! LOL. Their Hot & Juicy sauce was the best. It was a reasonable price for the amount. We waited about 30 minutes to get a table. We both were really happy with the food here.
