우리집 바닥이 일반 미국 가정집 카펫 바닥과는 달리 진짜 대나무바닥이라서 공기 중 습기가 많으면 바닥이 흡수해서 부풀어오른다. 그래서 제습기를 사면 이 문제가 해결되지 않을까 해서 고민 끝에 LG 퓨리케어 제습기를 구입해봤다.

 

온라인 월마트에서 구입했고, 배송 받았을 때 모습이다. 이 제습기를 거실 끝에 놓기로 했다.

 

* 검색해보니  LG퓨리케어 제습기 모델 자체가 해외를 겨냥해 나온 것 같았다. 한국에서는 휘센 제습기를 판매하는 것 같았음... 

 

 

 

 

 

생각보다 훨씬 컸던 크기에 흡족했던 우리 둘... 안그래도 이 넓은 집에 제습기 하나로는 부족하지 않을까 싶었는데, 직접 받아보니 커버 면적이 2000 sq ft으로 넓을 수 있다는게 이해가 되었다.

또 하나 예상치 않게 놀랐던 점은 바닥에 바퀴가 있어서 필요한 공간으로 그때 그때 쉽게 옮길 수 있다는 점이다. 이 기능 덕분에 제습기 하나로 집안 전체를 커버할 수 있게 되었다. 또 LG 퓨어케어 제습기 윗 쪽으로 손잡이로 사용할 수 있게 공간이 패여있어서 들어서 옮기기도 쉽다. 제일 좋은 점은 아무래도 바로 옆면에 물통을 꺼낼 수 있고, 반투명이라 얼만큼 물통이 찼는지 한 눈에 보여서 너무 편리했다.

LG 제습기 퓨리케어 소음

 

 

이런 많은 장점들에도 불구하고 단점을 꼽아보자면,

내가 제습기는 아예 처음이라 다른 타사 제품에 비해LG 퓨리케어 제습기 소음 크기가  얼마나 큰 지는 모르겠지만, 전원 버튼을 누를 때의 소리가 커서 벨라가 깜짝 놀라 도망간다. 거기다 제습기가 돌아갈 때 소음도 꽤나 있는 편이다. 그래도 엄청 거슬릴 정도는 아니고, 생각보다 소음이 컸다는 그 정도...? 타이머 기능이 있어서 집에 없을 때나 아니면 다른 방에 있을 때 돌려놓으면 잘 들리지 않아서 괜찮다. 애초에 소음이 꽤 있겠거니 알고 있었더라면, 단점으로 꼽지도 않았을 거다.

 

갓 세탁한 바지라 쭈글거림;

 

 

건조기가 있지만 수건이나 이불 세탁할 때만 쓰고 옷감 (특히 니트, 스웨터류)세탁시에는 건조기를 쓰지 않는다. 옷을 줄여버리기 때문에. 그래서 옷 세탁할 때 비가 오거나 장마철일 경우 꿉꿉한 게 마음에 쓰였는데 이제는 제습기가 있어서 날씨에 구애받지 않고 세탁 후 건조대에 널 수 있어서 마음에 든다.

그래서 나의 LG 퓨리케어 제습기 후기 총평은  추천! 이다.

현재 우리 집 안의 습기 정도와 원하는 습기 정도를 한 눈에 보기 쉽게 디자인 해 놓았고, 바퀴가 달려 옮기기 쉽다는 점, 타이머가 있다는 점, 물통이 옆면에 있어서  뺐다 넣기 쉽다는 점(아주 중요) 등 등.. 너무 마음에 든다. :) 제습기 모델을 고민하고 있다면 (특히 미국에서) 역시 한국 가전만 한 게 없다는 걸 또 느꼈다. 스카일러도 이점에 깊이 동의하는 바, 우리집 가전은 거의 모두 LG 아니면 삼성ㅋㅋ
