미국 앨라배마 주 11월 일상
앨라배마 주 운전면허증을 발급받고 미국에서 처음 운전대를 잡아보는 날이었다.
혹시 앨라배마 주에서 운전면허 발급 받을 예정이라면 Decatur DMV 강력추천한다.
미국 관공서 답지 않게(?) 일처리도 상당히 빨랐고 일을 잘하셨다.
Finally my driver's license got issued and it was my first driving in the US.
I highly recommend going to DMV in Decatur, Alabama if you are going to a DMV in Alabama anyway.
They were so nice and smart and knew everything I was talking about.
엄청 넓은 주차장 부지에 와서 연습했는데 주차 선이 잘 안보여서 애먹었다. ㅠㅠ
The parking lot was huge but the lines were so hard to see.
나의 첫번째, 두번째 주차!!
아직 녹슬지 않았구만
어제는 진짜 도로주행 했는데 운전하고 오니까 엄청 피곤했다.

My driving skill hasn't gotten rusty huh.
I drove on real road yesterday and I got so tired afterwards lol;
운전도 시작했으니 본격적으로 알아본 열쇠고리;; ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
라뒤레는 프랑스 유명한 마카롱 가게인데 여기서 나오는 열쇠고리가 너무 가지고 싶었다.

Laduree is a very famous French macaron shop, I had wanted their key chain for a long time.
에펠탑, 나름 애완견을 산책시키는 중인 파리지앵;
그리고 가운데는 햄버거 빵 아니고 마카롱입니다 ㅠ
스카일러가 자꾸 사람들이 햄버거 빵이라고 생각할 거라는데 그 말 듣고 나서부터 왜인지 그렇게 보이는 건 기분 탓일까

Skylar kept telling me that people would think they are hamburger buns. ㅡㅡ+
Since I got told that, the macarons look that way ....
저 여우 열쇠고리는 우리 집 열쇠인데 월마트에 가면 열쇠 스캔해주는 자판기가 있다.
기존 키 넣으면 스캔해서 그대로 깍아주는 기계고 하나 만드는데 택스포함 4달러였던 거로 기억
디자인도 선택할 수 있는데 여우 모양이 그나마 괜찮았음
The fox key is my house key.
I made it using a key kiosk? (looked like a vending machine) at Walmart.
It scans your key and carves a new one.
It costed 4 dollars including tax.
You can also choose design, I think the fox one was the best of them.
이 한국 음식은 부대찌개라고 불리는데 예전 한국전쟁을 치르고 나서 전쟁의 여파로
아주 가난했던 시절, 미군 기지에서 먹다 남은 재료들을 모아다가 만들게 된 찌개다.
슬픈 역사를 가지고 있지만 또 맛이 있다.
이번에 본격적으로 뚝배기에 만들어서 먹었는데 완전 존맛;;;
요즘은 한국말을 잘하는 미국남자라는 분이 일주일에 한번씩 부대찌개만 먹어서 유명해졌다...
This Korean dish is called -Budae JJigae-.
After the Korean war, when there was nothing to eat, Koreans started making stew with U.S. army surplus food.
It is a sad history but its taste is good.
I put tofu, sausage, onions, green onions and base sauce and it was sooo good.
These days, this american guy below loves Budae Jjigae and he eats it once or twice a week;;;;

미국와서 처음으로 머리를 잘랐다.
사실 한국 돌아갈 때까지 안자르고 버티려다가 머리 끝이 너무 상하는 바람에 자를 수 밖에 없었다.
아시안미용실 아니고 로컬 미용실 가서 잘랐는데 내가 원하는 모양이 아니었다. ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
스카일러는 자기 맘엔 든다는데 휴...
I got a hair cut for the first time in America.
I was going to get a haircut when I go back to Korea but the ends of my hair were too destroyed.
I went to a local hairshop and I didn't like the haircut because it didn't come out how I wanted it to be......
Skylar said he liked my new hair but I don't know T____________T

나는 아이스아메리카노랑 라즈베리화이트초콜렛 스콘이랑 남편은 카페라떼를 주문했다.
남편은 한국인들은 아메리카노라서 미국인들이 아메리카노 많이 먹냐고 생각하냐는데
그럼 내가 미국인들은 뭐먹냐고 묻자 카페라떼 먹는다고 그런다.

Skylar got to use a Jamoka's coffee coupon.
He got a cafe latte, and I ordered an Iced americano and Rasberry White Chocolate Scone.
Skylar asked me if Koreans think most Americans drink Americano.
And I asked him then what they drink? He said cafe latte...=_=
