Skylar's Birthday Dinner

스카일러 생일을 맞아 시부모님이 저녁 초대를 해주셨다.

남편이 먹고 싶다고 한 음식은 로스트 비프로 오븐에 소고기와 갖은 야채들을 함께 넣어 찌는 요리다.

시부모님 음식은 다 맛있지만 로스트는 야채를 좋아하는 나에게 거의 탑급 요리!!

My parents in law invited us to supper for Skylar's Birthday.

He wanted roast beef which is cooked beef with vegies in oven.

I love all of their cooking, this dish is the best because it has many vegetables.

또 스카일러가 좋아하는 마카로니 치즈와 옥수수 반찬까지 ~.~

Also, they made Skylar's favorite macaroni & cheese and corn.

미니 당근과 감자, 그리고 처음 먹어보는 방울 양배추까지 듬뿍 넣어서 해주신 요리는

보기에도 좋고 맛도 최고였다.

This roast beef had mini carrots, potatoes and brussels sprouts,

So it looked great and it was very tasty.

처음 먹어본 미니 양배추는 귀엽기도 한데 맛도 일반 양배추랑 비슷했다.

It was my first time to eat brussels sprouts, they tastes similar to normal cabbage.

소고기랑 야채 듬뿍 내 접시에 옮겨 내가 좋아하는 Mt. Olive 피클과 핫소스를 폭탄 투하하면

세상 최고 존맛. bb

I put some meat and lots of vegies with my favorite pickle Mt. Olive onto my plate,

and poured hot sauce. It was sooooo good.

스카일러 생일상인데, 어째 내가 더 신난 기분 (이 메뉴를 고른 남편 칭찬해 ㅋㅋ)

This supper is for Skylar, but it seemed like I was more excited 🤔

남은 음식은 항상 싸가게 해주시는 데, 너무 신난 나머지 환희의 세레모니를 하다 시엄마에게 들킴ㅋㅋ

They always let me pack leftover, I was so excited and I got caught subtle-happy-dancing by my mother in law.

저녁밥 든든히 먹고 배를 좀 소화시킨 후, 스카일러의 생일 케익을 다같이 먹었다.

We took a break after dinner to let our stomachs digest and we had this ice cream cake together.

미국에서는 처음 먹는 아이스크림 케익이었는데, 

엄-청 달 줄 알았는데 또 그렇지 않아서 좋았다. 

쿠키 크럼블에 초코 아이스크림이 안에 들어있었다 :D

This was my first american ice cream cake, 

I expected this to be too sweet but it was not !

It had cookie crumble in it. It was good.

이 날도 어김없이 루시와 함께...! 

내가 정말 좋아하는 고양이 루시.

종종 시부모님께서 루시 밥 주라고 하실 때 집사 된 기분이라 좋다 ㅋㅋ

I fed Lucy on that day too. I love her.

Sometimes my parents in law let me feed her, it makes me feel like her owner <333

루시는 내가 시부모님 집에 갈 때마다 냥냥 거리면서 환영 노래를 불러준다 ' 3' ♡

She always meows when I come to their house.

스카일러는 자기 인생에 최고의 생일이었다고 그랬다.

나랑 카약도 타보고, 시부모님의 맛있는 생일 저녁상도 받고 또 우리 부모님의 지극한 사위 사랑으로 10만원도 받아서 기분이 매우 좋은 듯 했다.

He kayaked with me, got the best supper from his parents.

My parents love him so much they sent him 100$ for his birthday too.

Skylar said this birthday was his best.
