[미국일상] 단풍나무 심기 Golden Full Moon Japanese Maple

10/19/2020 단풍나무 심은 날 Planting Japanese Maple Tree

이번에 주문한 일본 단풍나무는 학명은 Acer Shirasaum Aureum 일반적으로 통용되는 이름은 Golden Full Moon 이다.

I ordered a Japanese maple named Golden Full Moon.

 

새 단풍 골든풀문 뒤로 보이는 블러드굿

골든풀문 단풍 특징은 잎사귀가 아기손바닥을 펼친 것처럼 넓고 레몬색의 잎이 눈에 잘 띈다. 단풍이 들때면, 오렌지빛-붉은빛이 오묘하게 섞인 모습이 매력적이다.
This maple tree has bright yellow-green & wide leaves. In Fall, it changes to beautiful orange red color.

화분 크기에 맞춰 땅을 파줬다.

온라인 주문한 나무 치고 크기가 꽤 크다.

It was big for a tree ordered online.

단풍나무 심기 전 구멍에 나무용 비료도 솔솔 뿌려주었다.
I sprinkled some fertilizer for the tree.

 

지저분하게 흐트러진 흙 위로 새 멀치를 덮어줘서 정리해줬다. 특히 겨울을 보내는게 관건이기 때문에 노지에서 월동이 수월하도록 멀칭을 충분히 해준다.
I covered the bare soil with mulch. I made sure to put extra around the tree, so it can winterize easier.

 

 

멀칭 후

물도 넉넉하게 뿌려서 뿌리가 잘 활착되도록 한다.
I watered it well.

휴케라 리오가 저번에 옮겨준 장소가 마음에 안들었는지 시들시들하길래 이번 단풍나무 옆으로 옮겨주었다. 제발 살아나기를 ㅜㅜ 골든풀문도 잘 자라면 정말 좋겠다! 💖
Also I retransplanted the Heuchera. It was wilting... I guess it didn't like where it was. Hopefully it will get better at the new spot.
