아틀란타 한인타운 둘루스 「카페 파리바게트」 Atlanta Duluth Korean Bakery 「Paris Baguette」

근처 H 마트에서 장을 보고 후식을 먹으러 둘루스점 파리바게트에 왔다.

문 앞에서 발견한 빙수 사진에 휘둥그레해진 스카일러;;; (빙수킬러이심)

We shopped at H mart nearby and came to Paris Baguette Cafe for dessert.

Skylar found this image of Bingsu -Korean Shaved Ice- and suddenly wanted one so much.

파리바게트 카페형이라 그런지 내부도 생각보다 훨씬 크고 인테리어도 멋졌다 @_@

This is a Cafe version of Paris Baguette (It's usually just a bakery)

So the inside was bigger and the interior was cool.

오랜만에 보는 한국 스타일(?) 빵들 ㅠㅠ (감격)

한국 살 때는 파리바게트라면 그저 동네마다 있는 프랜차이즈 빵집이었을 뿐이었는데

머나먼 미국 땅에서 보니 그렇게 반가울 수가 없었다;

I was so happy to see those Korean style bread for the first time in a long time.

I didn't care about this franchise bakery in Korea because Paris Baguette is in every town...

But this time felt different when I found this Korean bakery in the US.

남편이 구입한 우유식빵과 (사실은 시엄마 주려고 샀던) 과일 패스츄리.

결국 혹시나 오는 길에 과일이 상했을까봐 시엄마 드리지 못하고 남편이 꿀꺽했지만....

Skylar bought the milk bread and the fruit pastry (Actually it was for his mother)

But we didn't want to give her this bread after a long drive just in case the bread went bad and caused her food poisoning.

내가 좋아하는 마카롱이랑 샌드위치들

(개인적으로 파리바게트 마카롱은 그렇게 좋아하진 않지만서도.)

I like macarons (Personally I am not very into Paris Baguette's Macarons for some reason though.)

스카일러의 관심사는 오직 빙수 뿐.

결국 얼마인지 물어보고 택스 포함 9불이라길래 과일 빙수를 사기로 결정

All he cared was only their bingsu.

I had to ask how much it is and the fruit bingsu was 9 dollars with tax.

구매하고 잠시 기다릴 동안 카운터 옆에 있던 케익 구경하기

While our Bingsu was getting ready, we looked at their cakes.

오랜만에 보는 아기자기하고 예쁜 케익들.

지금 포스팅하면서 보니까 하나 사먹을 걸 그랬지 싶다. ㅠㅠ

I missed this korean style cakes lol.

I should have had one piece though.

자리를 잡고 앉아 진동벨이 울리기까지 기다린 후,

빙수가 준비됨과 동시에 픽업하러 갔다.

When the bell buzzed, he went to pick up our food.

생긴 게 홍보 이미지랑 똑같아서 살짝 놀랐다.

우리 둘다 팥을 그렇게 좋아하지 않는데 팥을 뺴달라고 하는 걸 깜박했다;

그래서 직접 팥을 옆에 빼두고 먹음 ㅎㅎ

저 위에 하얀건 크림인데 난 크림을 별로 안좋아해서 스카일러가 먹었고

아래로 갈수록 연유때문에 달달하니 맛있었다.

I was a little surprised by how same our bingsu looks as the image on the door.

We don't like red beans in bingsu but we forgot to ask them not to put them in it.

The white thing on top was cream and I don't like cream very much either.

So Skylar ate all.

There is condensed milk on the bottom so the deeper part you eat, the sweeter the taste gets.

지저분하게 다 먹은 빙수 'ㅅ' 완빙!

스카일러는 설빙이 애틀랜타에 왜 없냐고 했다. 나도 이해가 안간다.

When you eat bingsu, you can't help becoming a messy  eater.

Skylar couldn't understand why Sulbing doesn't exist in Atlanta.

(Sulbing is the best franchise bingsu place in Korea and They have some branches in the US.)

다음 목적지인 노래방 오픈시간을 기다리면서 파리바게트 카페에서 시간을 때운 우리.

We were passing the time just sitting at this Cafe till the Karaoke opened.

다음엔 케익을 사러 다시 들러야겠다.

We should come back here for a cake next time.
