High School Football Game 

미국 고등학교 풋볼게임 관람_Sep 22, 2017

몇달 전부터 시부모님께서 미국 고등학교 풋볼 경기를 관람하러 가자고 하셨다.

아직까지도 풋볼 경기 규칙을 다 아는 건 아니지만,

저번에 대학생들의 풋볼경기를 관람했다면 이번엔 고등학생들 경기어서 어떻게 다른 지 궁금하기도 했다.

My parents in law suggested that we watch the highschool football game in September a few month ago.

I don't know about football game rules perfectly yet.

I was wondering the differences between high school football and college's.

경기는 저녁 7시부터 시작이어서 늦지 않게 도착했다.

해질녘 풍경이 너무 아름다웠다.

The game was supposed to start at 7 so we got there on time.

The sunset was so beautiful.

고등학교 본 건물에서 걸어 나오는 애기 밴드!

이름이 애기 밴드다. 처음 듣고 빵 터졌지만 실력은 애기가 아님!!

The high school band named The Aggie Band was walking out of the high school.

When I heard the name, I thought the name was so funny but their skills are not like babies.

( Because Aggie sounds like a baby in Korean. )

비행기도 두 대나 지나갔다. 원래 이렇게 자주 비행기가 지나가는 건지 사뭇 궁금해졌음..

There were two planes flying at the night.

I wonder if that many planes fly this town everyday -_-a.

경기 시작을 앞서 애기밴드의 짧은 연주가 있었다.

Before the football game, Aggie band performed first. 

풋볼 선수들의 웅장한 입장.

상대팀은 옥스퍼드 고등학교 풋볼팀(노란색 유니폼)인데 엄청 잘한다고 들었다.

옐로 자켓이라고 불리더라.

Aggies came out of the balloon entrance.

The opposing team is Oxford and I heard they are so good.

They are called Yellow Jacket lol.

사실 풋볼 규칙은 잘 몰랐는데 보다 보니 점점 이해가 됐다.

그나저나 상대팀이 너무 잘하더라.

The longer I watched the game, the better I understood the rules.

By the way, the other team was too good.

The band was trying their best to cheer up their football players.

열심히 했지만 상대편만 득점한 채로 하프타임!

Our team did their best but failed to score.

And half time started.

상대 옥스퍼드 밴드의 공연이 있었다.

하프타임동안 진행되는 밴드공연만 보기 위해서 오는 사람들도 있다고 그럴 정도로

정말 열심히 준비한게 느껴졌다.

Oxford band performed first.

Skylar said there are people who just come to football games to watch the band's performance.

They were prepared well.

곧 이어 이어진 애기밴드의 공연

처음 미국 고등학교 밴드 공연을 보는 거였는데 프로급으로 잘했다.

As soon as the other band finished, The Aggie Band hurried to perform.

I hadn't seen any high school band playing before,

Their performance was almost like pros.

풋볼 경기는 아쉽게도 전패했다. ㅠㅠ

그나저나 벌레가 너무 많아서 가끔 식겁했다. ㅋㅋ

완전 로컬들만 오는 구경에 끼어서 나름 신선한 경험했다고 생각한다.

I'm afraid our team lost totally.

There were so many bugs flying and some scared me :(

I think only the locals come to football games like this and I almost felt like I became one of them -_-a
