애틀랜타 다운타운은 생각보다 더 쌀쌀했다. ㅠㅠ 옷깃을 여미고 근처 하얏트 호텔로 향했다.

예약도 진작에 했었는데도 폴라리스가 하얏트 호텔 안에 있는 줄은 몰랐다. 

It was chillier in Downtown Atlanta than we thought it would be.

We hurried to Hotel Hyatt near our hotel. 

Even though I made a reservation a long time ago, I didn't realize Polaris was in the hotel.

하얏트 호텔도 우리 호텔처럼 많은 학생들로 붐벼서 정신 사나웠다.

로비에 폴라리스 레스토랑으로 향하는 전용 엘리베이터를 타고 나서야 조용한 분위기를 만끽할 수 있었다.

Hotel Hyatt was crowded with so many students too.

After we rode the hotel elevator that only goes up to Polaris, we could finally enjoy the silence.

석양이 저무는 로테이팅 레스토랑의 모습은 실로 장관이었다.

The view with the sunset was amazing from the rotating restaurant.

애틀랜타 다운타운에 로테이팅으로 유명한 선다이얼은 로테이팅이 현재 잠정 중단이라

폴라리스가 애틀랜타에서 유일한 로테이팅 레스토랑으로 봐도 무방할 것 같다.

Sundial which is a famous as a rotating restaurant in Downtown Atlanta has stopped rotating,

You can assume Polaris is the only rotating restaurant in Downtown right now.

건너편 건물에 비치는 폴라리스의 상징 블루돔이 매력적이다.

The reflection of the blue dome in the opposite building was charming.

우리는 폴라리스에서 가장 유명한 스테이크와 튀긴 굴 요리를 주문하고 

남편은 맨하탄을 주문했다.

We ordered the most popular dish, Steak Oscar and Deep Fried Oysters.

Skylar ordered an Old Fashion.

로테이팅 레스토랑은 뷰가 계속 바뀌어 전망 보는 재미도 쏠쏠하다.

조명들은 마치 달을 연상시키는 모양이었다.

It was fun to see a different view and their lights looked like the moon.

이게 남편이 주문한 올드패션 위스키.

한 입 마셔봤는데 역시 난 독한 술은 싫다. ㅋㅋ

This is Old Fashion. 

I took one sip and I didn't like it at all.

이게 내가 주문한 튀긴 굴 요리.

주문할 때 서버가 "굴 요리 단 4개인데도 괜찮으신가요?" 라고 확인하길래 괜찮다고 했다.

내가 사는 곳에서 굴요리 한 번 먹는 게 정말 보통 쉬운 게 아니라 발견한 것만으로도 기뻤기 때문 ㅠㅠ

This is the fried oysters I ordered.

When I ordered this, the server made sure if I am fine with only 4 fried oysters.

I was happy that I even found an oyster dish at a restaurant. It's not easy around here T_T

맛은 정말 훌륭했다.

위에 올려진 석류와 쌉쌀한 맛의 새싹 채소들, 완벽하게 튀겨진 꽤나 큰 굴들.

그리고 그 아래에는 머스타드 향이 살짝 나는 사과 샐러드까지 조화가 완벽했다.

The taste was amazing.

The harmony of pomegranates, baby greens, perfectly fried oysters and apple salad with lightly mustard seasoned was incredible.  

이건 남편이 주문한 스테이크 오스카.

미디움웰던 굽기로 주문했고 아래 구름 모양의 정체는 아주 곱게 다져진 감자 샐러드.

베어네이즈 소스와 아스파라거스&게살 사이드 디쉬까지!

This is Sklyar's dish Steak Oscar.

He ordered it to be medium well. The yellow cloud shaped thing under the steak was very thin mashed potato.

And the dressing sauce was Béarnaise. 

The side dish was sauted asparagus and crab.

감자가 얼마나 부드럽고 입에서 녹는지~

The mashed potato was super soft.

게살이 엄청 통통했고 아스파라거스도 간이 딱 맞아서 정말 맛있었다.

스테이크도 더할 나위 없이 완벽했다.

Crab had perfect Chewiness and thickness.

And the asparagus was seasoned well.

The steak was amazing as well.

이쯤 먹은 상태에서 모히또 한 잔 시켰다.

When we ate enough, I ordered a mojito.

모히또 양이 엄청 많아서 천천히 야경을 보면서 즐겼다.

그리고 폴라리스에서 유명한 블루돔 모형의 디저트를 시키려고 하는 순간....

The mojito was a lot so I drank it for a while enjoying the night view.

When I was going to order the popular dessert, Polaris blue dome....

서버가 블루돔 디저트를 들고와서 메인 디쉬를 끝낼 때 까지 기다렸다며

결혼기념일 축하드린다고 디저트를 준비했다고 주신 것이다!!!

The server brought us the dessert saying he waited till we finished our main dishes.

And the dessert was on the house for our anniversary !

정말 기대도 안했는데 안그래도 주문하려고 했던 디저트를 받게 되어서 더욱 기분이 좋았다.

결혼기념일 식사 장소로 폴라리스를 고르게 된 건 정말 좋은 결정이었다.

첫번째 결혼기념일에 좋은 식사를 할 수 있어서 행복했다.

When we never expected a dessert and it was exactly what we were about to order, It made us so happy.

I'm glad that we chose this restaurant for our first anniversary.

We could make a good memory :)
