알라바마 주 헌츠빌 베트남 음식 맛집

지난 주 일요일 헌츠빌 코스트코 가는 길에 점심을 먹으러 뷔엣훵에 들렸다. 이제는 비엣훵에 간 지 벌써 4-5번째가 넘어서 이번에야 말로 꼭 이 집을 포스팅 해야겠다고 생각했다. 쌀국수가 정말 맛있어서 다시 찾게 되는 곳이다.
Before we went to Costco in Huntsville, we had lunch at Viet Huong last Sunday. We have visited here more than 5 times now, I wanted to post about this restaurant this time. Their Pho is really good and makes us want to return.

일요일 점심 시간은 그야말로 피크타임인게 미국 남부 사람들은 대부분 예배가 그 시간에 끝나기 때문이다. 우리가 갔을 때가 오후 1시 살짝 넘었는데 비엣훵 식당 문을 열고 들어가자마자 사람들이 줄을 서 있었다.
Sunday afternoon is the busiest time around this area. Most people have lunch after church service. It was around 1 P.M when we got there. There were so many people in line when we walked into the restaurant.

나랑 스카일러는 먹는 게 정해져있다. 비엣쿠진 ([Alabama/Huntsville] - 알라바마 헌츠빌 맛집 :: Viet Cuisine) 에서 쌀국수를 시켰을 때 꽤 실망했어서 비엣훵에 처음 갔을 때 시킨 게 바로 쌀국수였는데 너무 맛있어서 계속 찾게 되었다. 내가 늘 시키는 건 P2. Pho Tai Nam 으로 그 동안은 스몰사이즈를 시켰는데 지난 주에 라지랑 70센트밖에 차이가 나지 않는 걸 깨닫고는 라지를 시켰더니 양이 훨씬 더 많았다.
We always order the same dishes. When I ordered a Pho at Viet Cuisine, it was disappointing. So I tried a Pho at Viet Huong at my first visit and it was really good. Since then I have been ordering only their pho P2. I realized it was only 70 cents between the small size and large one. So this time I got a large size of P2.

역시나 인기가 많은 레스토랑이라 사람이 끊임없이 들어왔다. 그럼에도 서빙을 빨리 해주셨는데 (엄청난 친절을 기대하진 말 것) 우리는 눌 식전 음식으로 스프링롤을 주문한다. 원래 1세트(롤 2개)를 시켰다가 이번엔 배가 고파서 2접시를 시켰더니 양이 너무 많았다. 다음 번 방문에는 1접시로 다시 줄일 예정이다. 또 쌀국수를 시키면 고추, 숙주, 고수 등 국물에 넣을 재료를 준비해주는데 요즘에 고수 맛에 푹 빠져버려서 듬뿍 듬뿍 넣는다.
People kept coming into the restaurant. But we got our appetizer pretty soon. We always order one spring rolls set, this time we were starving so we got 2 sets. It was actually too much. We should order one set next time. I got peppers, bean sprouts and cilantro to put in Pho. I love cilantro these days. I put every cilantro into my Pho.

스카일러가 늘 주문하는 숯불 돼지고기 버미셀리 면. 옆에 소스를 약간 부어서 비벼 먹는다. 숯불 향이 정말 대박!!
This is Skylar's favorite dish, Charbroiled pork with vermicelli. You mix some of the sauces next to the bowl with noodles. The pork tastes well-smoked and so good but not spicy.

이거는 내가 늘 주문하는 P2 쌀국수. 소 양지살이 들어가 있다. 나는 여기에 스리라차 소스를 넣어 먹는데, 한 그릇 먹으면 속이 엄청 개운하게 풀리는 느낌이다.
This is my favorite dish P2 Pho Tai Nam. It's got beef briskets. I put some Sriracha sauce in the bowl, it refreshes me after I eat this Pho.

이 날은 너무 배불러서 못 시켰지만 후식으로 타로 버블티까지 먹어주면 진짜 제대로 먹은 느낌 난다. 그런데도 가격이 정말 저렴해서 이렇게 다 시키고도 팁까지 해서 30달러를 약간 넘겼다. 정말 맛있고 가격도 착한 헌츠빌 맛집 비엣훵! 옐프에서도 가장 인기있는 맛집으로 나오는 데에는 이유가 다 있다.
We couldn't order any dessert this day, but we usually order Taro boba tea. Then it almost feels like you had a course meal. Still you only pay around 30 dollars including tip. I highly recommend this place. There is a reason why this place is the most popular on Yelp!
