둘루스 H마트에서 사온 미리 재워놓은 제육볶음과 불고기거리를 사와서 시부모님과 함께 저녁을 먹었다. 맛있다고 해주셔서 다행이었다.
I cooked Korean dishes for my parents in law. I bought pre-marinated stir fry pork and bulgogi. I was glad that they enjoyed the meal.
미국식 타이 진저비프를 종종 해먹는다. 뒷마당에서 직접 재배한 유기농 고수도 토핑으로 올렸는데 일반적 고수랑 잎모양이 살짝 다른데 향은 더 강하다.
I cook Thai ginger beef sometimes. Skylar likes this. I picked some of organic home-grown cilantro from my vegetable garden for the topping.
퇴근하고 볼링치러 간 날... 생각대로 공이 굴러가진 않음
Skylar and I went to bowling after work.
멕시칸 스테이크샐러드. 맛있게 잘 먹었다
And we got mexican food for dinner.
금요일 저녁에 오랜만에 채터누가에 들른 날. 오랜만에 가서 그런건지 내 기억보다 훨씬 더 도시적으로 변한 듯한 느낌.. 5년 안에 채터누가로 이사오면 정말 좋겠다.
Last Friday, we went to Chattanooga for the first time in a long time. I was surprised by how big of city Chattanooga was. I wonder if they developed a lot during the pandemic. lol. I want to live in a city with this scale!!
채터누가가 좋은 이유는 규모는 작지만 한강처럼 도시를 가로지르는 강이 있기 때문 💖
I like Chattanooga because there is a river across the city just like Han river in Seoul.
한시간이 넘게 기다려 드디어 입장한 토니스 파스타. 이번엔 기대가 너무 큰 건지 그저 그랬다. 새로운 맛집 발굴이 필요하다...
We waited for one and a half hours to get a table. I guess my expectations were too high. It didn't live up to my expectations this time.

We stopped by the cafe Rambrandt's next to Tony's Pasta. The key lime tart was okay but the Walnut brownie was good.
이 날 보름달이 아주 예쁘게 떴는데 하베스트문이라고 라디오에서 그러더라. 강가에 비친 달빛이 아름다웠다.
The moon was beautiful. I heard the radio said it was 'Harvest moon'. The moon light was shining on the river.
주말에 집 앞 마당으로 산책하는데 추석이라고 벨라가 구독자들에게 절을 올렸다. ㅋㅋ
I took bella out for a walk. Bella wanted to bow to my subscribers for Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving.)
마늘을 텃밭상자에 심기로 했다. 구근식물인지라 비료를 넉넉히 주고 호미로 잘섞어줬다. 마늘은 에이치마트에서 산 중국산 마늘 ㅎㅎ
I wanted to grow garlics. I bought garlic bulbs from H mart in Duluth. I mixed the soil with this compost to enrich the soil.
마늘 10알을 심고 물을 넉넉히 뿌려줌... 잘 자라라 🤗
I planted 10 cloves and watered thoroughly. Hope these will grow well!
